MVR is anti-CV but the FDR can at certain times fight back with her dive bombers. If he had eliminated that CV earlier it might've changed the outcome.
Would have saved the BB from MRV AP bombs and probably won the game. He also lost all 14 TBs on the thunderer and was almost deplaned after that.
Not gonna lie, I think wargaming is gonna add Shinano or something like that as an other nation's counterpart

Maybe but maybe not. Shinano was never designed as a fleet carrier, instead as a support carrier to carry replenishments.
@@snowykaze At first, there's an option to make Shinano as Japan's biggest carrier with her own combat air group, but instead they choose to make her as support carrier like HMS Unicorn instead...

@@snowykaze if we abide to historical accuracy I agree with you, but in the end fleet carrier Shinano is far more accurate than M. V. Richthoffen or the Kremlin, obviously the most powerful BB in real life

Good replay analysis, TopTier. But i see 2 breaking points: the full-life Yamato getting to close to the nearly dead Kremlin and then the point you see with the MvR.
I agree with you, teamplay is dead in most battles. I will not waste my time when playing cv with trying teamplay or hunting DD´s with badly designed rockets anymore, just farm damage.
Would love to see more of his replays and your breakdowns. Especially with high tier IJNs like haku and shokaku

3 blunders I noticed
1) he should of helped the other flank after killing the Salem, might have saved 1 or 2 more team mates by eliminating ships on the west flank and the Montana was essentially out of the game
2) should not have struck the thunder while it was protected by fighters, since fighters kill 1 to 1 you lost 6 aircraft that will take over 12 min to recover plus the aircraft you loose attacking MVR
3)you burned your boost needlessly, use it to make attacks as opposed to getting to the area in a hurry. Discipline yourself to know use boost till the attack run will make a better cv player
Other then a couple of miscalculated drops and an unlucky role I felt he could have won the game for the team

In Random, I'll commit to 1 flank at the beginning, as the games goes on, I'll support the winning flank so they can make a net and complete the cross.
Some people just don't underatand that helping the losing flank is useless...
For the Thunderer part... I think he can't dodge it on time since MVR's FT is so stealthy
The engine boost part, I agree with you
I think that 7min into the game, the right flank was won, and there were 5 ships still alive on the left flank. That would have been a good time to switch focus to left flank. CV player picked good targets but farmed for damage and plane survival over the win after the right flank was won, and left flank was dismantled in the next few minutes.
Yes Wargaming, introduce more op ships or cvs that makes people quit instandly...

Game was mainly lost due to no antidd gameplay, single flank focus without message to get back on left flank. Should have been more of a rout if the 2 dds on other team didn't die and the enemy cv didnt overextend on weak flank. Comment for video creator: you should include the drop numbers for the bad/semidodged drops for consistency. FDR seems like a hard-to-balance CV for plane HP: either planes are too tanky and it's OP, or planes die too much for it to be viable. I suppose the only way to nerf would be to slightly reduce damage on each ordinance. Fundamentally FDR and MvR look like potato-farming CVs that do extra well against people who can't or don't have wasd keys, though FDR ordinance does disturbingly have the shotgun effect which may be extra strong vs dds in smoke or dds in front of friendly ships.

I'm planning to get the FDR as soon as the coupon respawns, so this video helps :)
About the replay: mostly good stuff, until the endgame. Running into fighters on the Thunderer, and then missing the rocket run on the MvR, was pretty bad.
Still, it's hard to stay focused in a tight game when you're already on 300k+ dmg.
I think his biggest issue is that he kept wasting his boost getting to the target, instead of using it when attacking.
yeah... Sometimes I mixed the usage, I usually only use up to 50% then let it full before I use it again.
I only use every drops of engine boost when commiting to an attack and when leaving the AA zone
With FDR it’s equally important to speed away after a drop.

Next, WG will buff flac so that FDR becomes useless. In the process, WG will make all t10 CVs useless too.

Did you know you van start the attack run, get your aiming radical narrow and the turn in without the radical blooming. With torpedobombers and divebombers.

i think he didnt know that MVR had fighters on thunderer, due to the fact that MVR fighters has only 4km concelment
when noticed there are fighers, it was just too late
position of the fighters would not change anything, FDR could easily destroy the MvR with the help of the team
either this thing should be nerfed or the other powercrept tech tree CVs need to get major buffs
MvR is not, but Audacious needs buff.

@@TheDedictvi CA/CL? DD? Again if CVs were OP you'd see as many of them as you do every other class if not more but CVs are still the most underplayed class by far. Explain that, if they are so OP why aren't double, hell even the same number of players using CVs?

I didnt get why people do act like the Yamayo: you are 3/4 or max health, see a almost dead bb coming at you at ramming speed and instead of putting reverse or turning early to avoid the ram, they set full speed ahead...maybe i get the yamato think he can citadel anything but i see this in other bbs who cant overmatch and we trade a full hp ship for a dying in fire red...
Also i think the damage in this thing should be nerfed, it hit too hard and unlike the other carriers its hard to stop the first attack...

The thing is this CV has horribly slow reload times and slow aircraft for T10. I’m an average CV main. What he did was exceptional. Trust me, most people, me included, can’t do what he did. The average cv main who picks up an FDR will see at least 40-60% of his planes shredded before the 10 minute mark as saturation attacks are pretty much the only viable strategy (lots of slow planes, pre dropping with this many planes would be beside the point). And as a result will rarely bring in the big numbers. The average cv main who picks up an FDR will also have at least 60% of his planes in his squadron dead after one attack run and the rest will be lucky to survive the slow reload timer. Think of the FDR as a buff RN cv not a USN ship, damage over the time is the game. Stick to a group and the FDR will never even so much as look at you.

I think we all can agree that FDR is horribly broken and needs to get nerfed alot.
No it's not it hits hard, but has slow planes, massive reload..... easy to doge in dds and cvs, bbs should stay with crusiers, if u dont work as a team u die simple.
FDR has serious weaknesses too, especially the inability to do much against DDs. Try a match with 4 DDs per side and 2 of them Hallands and you’ll find out ...
CVs in all cases too strong and not good for gameplay - but here 2 good teams fight against each other - yepp, less teamplay, but this is in all random matches common

FDR is OP against BBs but weak against others. MvR is much stronger
FDR dive bombers do 25k damage per run yes, but MvR dive bombers also do 25k damage per run, flies at 50% faster speed, and doesn't have to wait 25 seconds between drops.
@@TTier All of FDR's squadrons have serious utility, it may not be the best at hunting DD's, but that doesnt justify casually dropping 300K dmg games without breaking a sweat. I believe if you are going to play the easiest and lowest-risk class in the game. You should earn your dmg, by using tactics to evade flak and use islands. FDR doesnt need to, it can do multiple 20k+ drops on a BB without loosing even 5 planes. Talking dmg output alone, FDR is way more OP then MvR, all but the rocket planes are better, and it doesnt even matter if theyre slow
@@kai-xuanyao4666 MvRs torp planes are also very lackluster in comparison to FDR and other CVs, the long wait times doesnt matter since it usually takes 15-20s to drop again (needing to turn around and realign) using other CVs, so 15s isnt an issue, especially when u can sit in flak and not loose a single plane.... both are dumb tho, i hope both get dmg output nerfs and also get affected by flak more
