Here I show and discuss how to make augment sets (u48) at the Cauldron of Cadence.

Hey Voodu, nice to see you got around to this! I jumped on this boat early, and have made four 3-piece sets already. My archer can wear 3 of the sets at once +4 wis, +20MRR cap & 15% Helpless dmg. Its such a cool system and we can really costumize, greets from Mesmerita
Hey Mes! does that require 9 total pieces to run 3 augment sets?
@@vooduspyce Yes it does I only use Sharn ranged set, rest is slotted with those set augments

It's info I'll never be able to use since I have a 30 but I solo only due to the randomness of my life, but it's still very cool to learn about. :-) I do agree with Malleus below in that there are too many ways of crafting for me to keep track of, but that's okay since I can't do most of them anyway. :-p I have managed to scavenge enough parts from Epic Devil Assault to craft a greensteel cloak with two abilities, but that's about all I'll ever get for that since many components are BtC. It's still been fun, even if the cloak isn't really good enough to use. :-\
Anyhow, great report as always! :-) Always a pleasure to watch.
Hey Patrick, you can craft tier 3 heroic green steel on your cloak with unbound ingredients. Just need a Shard of Supreme power, which you can get out of Devil Assault or Shroud. Everything other than the shard is unbound :-)
@@vooduspyce Thanks man, but the problem is that I'm working on TRing one character through as quickly as my occasional-play schedule allows, which means that character doesn't get many chances to run Epic Devil Assault. It took her to 22nd level on one past life to get the Shards she needed for the 1st and 2nd, and while I've gotten a Supreme Shard in one run, it unfortunately was with my 30, so no luck there. :-o Wish they had an item to change BtC to BtA stuff in the store or something. :-\
Thanks Voodu, always very helpful. IMHO, this game is becoming way too complicated with such a huge number of crafting systems, it's just too much for people like me that don't want to spend their lives in the Wiki. Too many ingredients, too many augments, too many sets, too many items, too many bonuses, too many combinations. It's getting overwhelming and with every new expansion and crafting iteration, my headache gets worse. I don't think that accumulating new crafting and bonus systems on top of each other is the way to evolve. I can't imagine the feeling of a new player facing the game for the first time, very discouraging complexity, moreover if you consider that you have to study everything on the wiki because the game is not able to explain things properly. Just thinking outloud. Cheers!
I hear ya. Dev Lynnabel feels the same way and wants to reduce the number of crafting and upgrade systems in the game. Who knows when or if that'll happen tho. Thanks for saying :-)
I cannot test it myself, but afaik you CAN slot an item already having a set (it overwrites the original set), which can be ok if you are not using the specific set of the item. The reason you were not getting the +4 con was because *you put 2 set augments in the same item*. The augments need to be in 3 different items
