This video got me into scootering almost 5 years ago as with many of my friends and these tricks looked crazy to me at the time. And I am truly grateful for the funk bros and what they have done for growing and expanding The scootering community And because of a lot of hard work and not giving up on my self I’m doing tricks like 7 whips and and double overheads. I am 45 years old, and I just bought a (good) scooter for my 6-yo daughter. Turns out, she thinks it would be fun if I also had one. So, although I have an amputated lower left leg (accident), I'm getting myself one. I know I'll look like an idiot (I tried my daughter's), it is fun, and I get to have fun with my kid this way. It seems doable to do a lot of tricks, even with a prosthetic leg.
I can't wait.
I used to skate on vert ramps on first side-by-sides, and then inliners, but this will be fun, learning a few tricks here and there. And perhaps when she's old enough, and brave enough, I might try actual vert ramps with her, unless I break my neck, lol.

It's just dedication, if its too slow like in their example you won't land. As you build in confidence you'll be able to kick it harder and rotate your arms faster which then makes it possible. It's in the little flicks from your feet and arms

I have the same struggle
It is all in the wrists you just have to take some time to just go outside and learn the motion and when it comes to you it will stay it is like instant muscle memory.
You kinda just wanna get your bars going the opposite way as the deck is a little past half way in its rotation. Also for me it's easier to get my top hand farther up of whichever way I'm kicklessing

I’m freakin 23, bought a 350$ scooter in NYC and I am a truck driver (48 states OTR) and I have my scooter with me on my rig in case I want to ride and stay healthy.
Sadly I don’t know many tricks. So the scooter has just been collecting dust in my rig. I know. Total noob. But this video helped! Thank you! Hopefully I won’t lose all my teeth! XD

Nice video. This evening I tried few tricks around a shopping mall building. I was happy and then back home. I was on the road and didn't notice the sewer fence by the road. 😂 I rode over it and flew out.

D7.Difient yes they are aslong as your bars can spin a full rotation but it will break eventually
It will test the strength, I learnt to jump and stuff on a razor but if yours is made to fold away it will eventually break it
my wheel moves when I do the 180
D7.Difient tighten your compression and clamp, I had the same problem and it fixed it
