If you have water in your catch can you've got problems. The catch can goes in betwern your manifold and pcv valve preventing oil from entering your manifold. If you have water in your catch can then you've got water in your crankcase. P-positive C-crankcase V- ventilation The PCV valve routes air and fuel from the crankcase back through the intake manifold to the cylinders rather than allowing them to escape into the atmosphere. What is a catch can? A catch can is technically an oil/air separator. Catch cans / oil separators are used to separate oil droplets from the air circulating from the engine breather and then through the intake system.
Water is a by product of combustion and is in the normal piston ring blowby. The catch can is doing exactly what it should. It could also be magnified by short runs of the engine not getting it totally warmed up and/or high humidity conditions in the atmosphere.
Very well done!

This will help all 3.6L Jls and JTs with the infamous Rattle sound from the front of the engine when at low rpm
Very interesting. I’ll look into this.
Awesome
Thanks buddy!
Why don't they put a catch can in the assembly line? Thanks man 😊
