I feel the same and the new beats seem "flimsy" . I hope they can bring out something reasonably priced but i doubt that will ever happen now that it is an Apple owned brand.
So here's the thing: Beats creates base heavy stuff that sounds shit in the mids and highs. With a speaker this small, you cannot create any base, so you are left with a speaker that has terrible lows, terrible mids and terrible highs.
Well not much of a surprise i guess. Could you guys review some jbl and harman/kaardon products. Maybe some Bang and Olufsen (a little pricey but why not? ;)
Damn it, I just spent $55 winning this by playing flappy bird at an arcade. Wal-mart wouldn't take it back because it was purchased in July lol. I was hoping for $200 store credit. Shit.
The beats pill might get a lot of hate but I love it's sound quality and it is loud I barely had the volume turned half way up and I felt like I was at a club
I own a pair(I own their Noise Cancelling headphone) and they are definitely worth it. They sound better than most headphones (better than Bose and Beats obviously and are slightly below Sennheiser products imo). I have yet to try their speakers but I imagine they will be great judging by the reviews and my headphone experience
Creamy Z That's why I want Soud Guys make reviews about this brand products (Marley) because sounds better that some leader brands (Beats, Audio Technica, Some Bose and Sennheiser) I personally I am a headphones freak, own the Sennheiser Momentum, the Beats Studio and the Tour, the Bose SoundTrue, The Audio Technica Ath-m50 and for my experience with Marley is toe to toe with the brands that I own, but of course some Sennheiser and Bose models, but the Marley Liberate XL are the better best that I own right now, When I started with this brand, I buy the bargain Marley Smile, then I go Up with the Marley Liberate XL and thats crazy. But I want to know the Sound Guys reviews of this brand products if they share the same about it, thanks for your advise and experience Creamy Z.
it Uses cheap no Name drivers in a way too Small enclosure... even some ripoffs Sound better cuz the two inner drivers are Fake so it gives the actual ones more space xD jbl Bluetooth speakers Sound way better, beats is just for Kids Who wanna Play cool and rich
I don't know what's wrong with yours. I got mine today and it is amazing. The slums is perfect. The bass ad everything else. It's literally perfect. From a rating from 1-10 I would give it a 10! I very, very recommend this for anyone getting a speaker. I have a black one and I love it.
7 hours battery life? How does that work? Do you plug it in and charge it like a laptop or do you have to replace batteries every time they die... that would suck
Wow another overpriced price piece of junk from Beats, that's a shocker! Beats are a metrical of marketing and nothing more. I admit their build quality has improved a bit lately but they still sound like junk. There are so many good headphones out there that sound amazing for half the price, my favorite so far has been my Skullcandy Aviator. They were $150 at first but it's possible to find them closer to $100 now. Not the absolute best headphones out there, but a great value for the comfort and sound and they don't look half bad either! I also learned about a new company called Status Audio, I've heard good things about their HD One headphones.
Aleksa Ivanovic the Pill+ is much better than either of the previous Pills. I'm not sure if it is $230 good but if you can find it for less than $200 (I got mine for $180 from Best Buy) I would recommend it. The mids and lows are there on this one. Comparing it to my SoundLink Mini II - the mids and highs sound more detailed and full on the Pill+ but the SoundLink Mini wins on the lows. The bass can get impressively low for a small speaker on the SoundLink Mini II. The Pill+ does have good bass for it's size (especially when you place it about six inches from a wall or a corner - placement is important) but not quit what I expected from a Beats product. Like I said though, it's miles above the Pill 2.0. I would not buy the Pill 2.0 for anything more than $20 but I would happily buy another Pill+ for around $150-$200. Also the battery life is improved and I get around 8-10 hours per charge. I should note it does not have a W1 chip so Bluetooth works about as well as anything else. The Beats Pill+ app that allows you to sync two or more Pill+' together needs work and only works right about half the time although when you do successfully sync two Pill+' together the stereo feature sounds 👍

They where the same speaker they just changed the sound quality on the 2.0 but there was not much difference

I put my anker a1 against this speaker in class the other day and my anker sounded soo much better than the beats
