- Time to furnish the Barbie room box! There are several DIYs in this video: a hall tree, rocking chair, wall sconces, window valances, picture frames, planters, a table, a stool, and a rug, all labeled in the top left corner. I've made a few houses on this channel, but at long last I finally made the stuff that goes inside of one. I just about fried my brain trying to edit this, it was just so much footage to go through. I hope whoever asked me about how I made my other rocking chair from the dresser video sees this video, different style but some similar techniques. If you noticed the band-aid, at some point I cut my thumb on my scissors blade. I think I was just holding them open for some reason, went to do something else, and sliced myself. Don't be like me, craft with caution.

Thanks. People have been asking for measurements and templates in general so I'll have to work on that. I just use a doll to size everything.

This is amazing, just as all your creation videos are. Suggestion: could you link in the descriptions all the materials you use? Like the little strings of sticky-back beads and the like--- it would help those of us who are inspired to use your videos as tutorials if we knew exactly what you used. I would especially like to know where you got the plants with the tiny tiny leaves, they work so perfectly to scale here. Great job!
I can try to put some of that info in the description box or something. I built this house while I was staying in Canada and most of my supplies came from this dollar store called Dollarama. My craft foam, matboard, and paints came from this art supply store called Deserres and a couple things came from Walmart and maybe Michaels. Now that I'm back in the US I'm finding some of these things in Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, and Joann's. Off the top of my head, I know some Dollar Trees sell sticker gems and textured ribbon and Hobby Lobby sells miniature leaf wire garland similar to the one I got from Dollarama that I used for tiny plants.

I'm not a big fan of that particular kind of jazz, but it kinda hit the spot...🤷🏼, Much to my surprise. I think I'd take it over pretty much anything coming out of the music industry today. The pop, country and Christian music all sounds the same, cept different lyrics. Haven't listened to new rock or rap in four years. Funny things happen with age... Lol. Still like the dolls though.

Thanks so much. I'm no architect, I just like crafting and I get fixated on details sometimes. While this jazz isn't my all time favorite genre, it is something I don't mind listening to for extended periods of time where it isn't too slow or too intense. I know it's not for everyone. Trying to find a decent audio track in the RUclips library is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
@@e.d.t. I think the jazz is a nice change. I prefer Dixie land jazz or big band stuff... All of which surprises me. Most music is fine, just gotta hear it at the right time in the right setting. Thinking if your works, I picked up a book today at thrift store on Victorian houses. Cheap entertainment and inspiration. 😘💞💖

Thank you. I just do this for fun, so I don't have anything for sale. I don't have any digital patterns available yet either, so it's something I need to work on.
I would love to see more of your process and I never thought to use a template website. Do you mind sharing which one you used? I didn’t even know that was a thing but I grew up before the age of Internet so it’s probably just me.
I went to templatemaker.nl for the truncated cone calculations based on the tallest planter I wanted to make, so I measured the heights and diameters I would need based on my sketch, put in the sets of measurements, and the site created PDFs to print out. There are also RUclips videos that teach how to create truncated cones. I've since forgotten and could use a refresher 😅
