Fantastic video series Mark and you did indeed return that car to most probably better than showroom condition, the finish spoke for itself and you hit the nail on the head when you spoke of enjoyment of using a product, the autobrite collection I have has never let me down and yes some may not have super longevity but they are a joy to use, something that does get forgotten about when people are striving for "the best" as always keep up the good work sir 👍🏻
Thank you Paul, I've been guilty of it myself, especially with RUclips, trying to find the best product and neglecting the importance of the user-experience... Something I will be focusing on much more going forward 👍🏼
Absolutely fantastic end to the mini series. No stone left unturned on this detail, and it was a detail as far as I’m concerned , way more than any valet. Autobrite Direct was my first introduction to better than Halfords own products and got me hooked on detailing as a hobby , I still have some of the kit I got 10 yrs ago and the products are still good today!! Repel is a favourite glass sealant , easily sees 12 months from it on everything except windscreen and I so easy to use too! Loved the info on the glaze and how it’s brilliant on shiny chromed plastic , a wee tip I was keeping for a future video of mine 😅 Next thing to do now is go back and watch all 4 episodes together , the before / after shots are a dramatic difference and yes, white cars can look glossy 😂 Well done mate, brilliant editing too!! 👨🏻💻
Thank you Graeme, very kind words mate!! I was a bit annoyed that I hadn't really planned ahead or I would've made sure I had some Repel available but I can save that for another video 🙂 Sorry about the chrome tip but sure we can both share the same things 🤣 Enjoy watching the full series again, much appreciated as always 😁👍🏼
Turned a grubby workhorse into a showroom ready beauty - my wife’s wee car is good at growing that green mould beside the hatch hinges too, so glad it is not only me who needs double jointed fingers. Great job - makes me want to try some autobrite products! 👍
As filthy as it looks, it's a very satisfying job when it's this bad!! Especially when you stand back and look at the final results! Thanks Colin, and I would definitely recommend you try a few 👌🏼👍🏼
Thank you for a thoroughly entertaining series. And you're right, this is a hobby for many of us, so fun products get big thumbs up. I look forward to seeing how you're going to top this series, because you've set yourself a rather high bar!
Wow, that's some serious praise!! Thank you!! I have a few big plans but might have to just upload some mediocre stuff in the meantime 🤣🤣 And yes, it's a hobby! If we're not enjoying iy then we're not doing it right!! 👍🏼 Thanks again, really do appreciate the kind words 👍🏼
Really enjoyed the whole series Mark but this one was a real joy to watch over breakfast, what a result. Showroom condition. I have to admit that in all the years Ive played with cleaning cars I have only ever bought one Autobrite product & thats still sitting half used on the shelf🤷🏻♂. Well done mate that was a long days work, surprising just how much time is used up when filming. Im re-discovering the joy of detailing without the camera. Look forward to the next video
Thank you Martin, appreciate your support as always! Like I mentioned, last year was the first time I'd tried their products and there was just something about them that made me realise I'd been guilty of focusing too much on end results and not enough on if I was enjoying what I was doing... The 2 aren't always mutually exclusive! I've also found myself cleaning cars more frequently without the camera and I have to agree, there's a certain element of relaxation there that I've missed this past 3 years!! 👍🏼
Well Mark what else can I say but 👏👏👏. You should be really proud of your efforts, that looked amazing when you'd finished. As for the mini series I've thoroughly enjoyed it, it reminds you that this is a hobby for most of us just looking for hints and tips to further our own enjoyment. Don't get me wrong you're Quick Text Tuesday were great but it's a refreshing change to see you just having fun whilst filming. Keep up the fantastic work you do mate 👍👍
Thank you Paul, I'm always trying to keep a bit of variety going but I do enjoy the Quick Test Tuesday videos too! I'll probably mix everything up going forward so that my channel doesn't get boring!! Hopefully not anyway 🤣 Thanks again mate 👍🏼👍🏼
Nah it will never get boring mate. Not with your neighbours teeth in making you say the wrong things 🤣🤣 or even THE day your mitt flip goes wrong and you drop it.
Hi there that was a cracking wee series for any level of detailer in my humble opinion and the car probably ended up better than when it was purchased. I did a white Fiesta for a neighbour that had not been detailed ever, other than a commercial car wash, machine or hand and like that car the green algae was in the window rubbers and boot shuts. There is nothing wrong with the AutoBrite products and they are well priced especially if they are picked up in one of their legendary sales 40% springs to mind but I may be wrong there. As you know I predominately use Mitchell & King products myself but I have a good selection of AutoBrite products on my shelf and certain of their products are my go to products including their glass cleaner and citrus. Their cherry glaze seems to have a bit of a cult following but I have not tried it. Glazes are something I have never been impressed with but maybe I expect too much from them maybe I should tape off a section to see if there is any difference at all. I have so many glass polishes and it is not something I use very often but I will incorporate it into my process again after this film. My favourite glass cleaning procedure is the one that Autocare HQ listed on her channel sometime ago with water spot remover, panel wipe and clay bar not in that order obviously. With regards glass sealant Angelwax H2go is still top of my list as it is with many others. As a footnote with regards the back of the hand on paint I find myself doing it as well. In fact my Father in Law bought a new Q3 in the navy blue, cracking colour and I felt the paint with the back of my hand and he questioned my reason so we got into a long discussion. Looking forward to your next film with anticipation.
These jobs are always satisfying, moreso than a maintenance wash and especially on white cars so glad you've had the same experience with your neighbour's fiesta 🙂 I completely agree re glaze polishes... Not generally my thing but I thought this was the perfect set of circumstances to give it a go! I'd still rather use 'proper' polishes & compounds but this is fantastic on chrome trims so it definitely has its place! And I too am a huge fan of H2GO, durability is second to none from my experience! Thank you for taking the time to watch & comment John, it's always appreciated 👍🏼
Likewise. You always reply at length to my ramblings it must be a nightmare when you see my comment and think that guy again. Thanks as always for your content.@@SparkleanAutos
@johnbrown3951 Not at all John, you've taken the time to watch my videos and comment, the very least I can do is put some effort into a reply! Chat to you on the next one 😁😁👍🏼
Really great series, thoroughly enjoyed it. Appreciated the pace and your presenting style and as a relative newbie to car detailing, I was never left confused with any part of your process. “An Armadillo with Psoriasis”….whaaaaahhaaaaahaahaaa. Priceless! 😂
I'm really glad it came across that way, I always try to make sure what I'm doing is easy to understand without being condescending 👍🏼👌🏼 If you ever have any questions feel free to ask away 👍🏼 And I'm not sure where the armadillo line came from but I thought of it, it made me laugh, so in it went 😬🤣🤣 Thanks again for watching and the comments, very much appreciated 😄
Fantastic video Mark one of your very best and that’s saying something 👏👏this was a superb series ,I have used a few of the Autobrite products on show but the standout for me is Project 64 I love the stuff ,looking forward to the next one 👌👌
😲😲 no "keep 'er lit" this time?! 😢🤣🤣 Thank you Jim, I was really pleased with how this last video turned out, not just because of the transformation! Project 64 really was impressive... Going to have to buy myself a bigger bottle now 🤣🤣
Fan bloody tastic... Mark, its Lee, I've changed my name here to match my Insta profile. What a transformation, I bet you and the owner was as pleased as punch. The Autobrite products I've used have never given me anything other than cracking results, in fact, I should grab some more in 24, yku know I'm on a spend cap 😂. All the best pal, looking forward to the next upload. 👍
Haha spend caps are only good until the next sale offers come up on your screen 🤣 Yes, definitely pleased as punch with the results, turned out really well, I was very proud of this one! They really are good, enjoyable, reliable products - no complaints! Thank you Lee, always love my regular comments 😁😁😁👍🏼
@SparkleanAutos I have a question.... 😂.... the AG hydrophobic glass cleaner, did you see any smears, I used it on Friday and it was nasty for me. So I used it again, on a different car on Saturday, had to buff that afterwards, because it smeared again?
Well unfortunately I didn't get any feedback on it for this particular car but.... I actually just used it on my wife's Mini at the weekend and she has just driven home in the rain and was so impressed with how much better her vision was 🤔 Now, I did carry out this process with the AD Clear View first before applying the AG product, so I'm not sure if that was the big difference... And I also fitted new wipers... But absolutely no mention of smearing, quite the opposite, she remarked how much clearer it was compared to before!
Beautiful finish mark . Can I ask what cloths you use as there are so many types now and i would just like to simplify my processes. I do enjoy detailing but find there is almost too much choice with every step now! A video on all your go to accessories would be very interesting . Cheers
I do plan on doing just that James when I get the time! What I will say is that I'm not one for spending money where I don't have to... At the minute I'm actually using the Mcrofbre cloths, really good value and keep they're quality well after washing .. if you shop around you can get them from a few UK suppliers from about £25 for 40 cloths! I would definitely recommend them! As for other accessories etc., I'll be producing something soon hopefully 👍🏼 Thank you for your comments James 🙂👍🏼
Great series, looks like the car has just been freshly painted. Autobrite was the first brand I used when I started the hobby. What do you do with your microfibre cloths once used?
I separate them into types of products used (polishes, sealants etc.) Rinse them under running water and then wash them separately with non-bio (no fabric softener!)
Funny enough I just used it again on my wife's car at the weekend - editing this reminded me to try it!! So it'll be interesting to see how that goes 👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks Patrick
Ive said to others before , Specky I think it was , you dont see AD getting reviewed often . Being literally on my door step I used a few of these products and some of those you tried here over the years . Project 64 is a fave of those you tried , Cherry Glaze whilst brilliant i have the chocolate variant of it and whilst great you just want a Mars bar after using . Some of their products i dont get on with or enjoy so its not a fan boy reply here. The Banana scented wax i didnt enjoy and left me looking like id been fibgeting Marg Simpson . On the whole i think they get often over looked by fanboys of "bigger" named brands who look down on brands like AD as not on their levels . The sample boxes are brilliant to try stuff but often the AD sales of the past have hit me harder in the pocket than a wife when you walk across a freshly mopped floor . Well worth a look at though
There is a lot of 'brand snobbery' about but I must say, whilst not outright winners in every category, I thoroughly enjoy using a lot of AD products and that's what this is supposed to be about, enjoyment!! I've still only dented the surface with their range but I will be using a lot more in the months (and possibly years!) to come!! Thankfully I'm not nearby or I'd probably spend too much in their store!
The autobrite glass polish is a poor product it didn’t give a crystal clear finish.I tried a number of slightly different application removal methods but no joy. I ended up using my go to glass polish auto smart glass glow job done. But I understand as this comes in 5 ltrs as I’m in the trade it available for me. Autoglym glass polish is still better than this autobrite polish as is easily available for the consumer. Autobrite need to look at this product for me
What another fantastic video Mark and well worth the wait I have been using Autobright products for years and have learnt so much more about products and how to use them for outstanding results, keep up the great work and videos and as they say practice makes perfect so with that in mind they should come quicker than they have been 😂😂 joking aside your videos are second to none my friend 👏👏👏👏👏🔥
Haha thank you Roy, always look forward to your comments mate!! The AD products really do focus on the enjoyment factor above all - something that definitely appeals to me more & more the older I get! Results are great too 😁👍🏼 I'll keep working on my editing speed Roy, don't want you having to wait too long 🤣🤣

Cherry Glaze with a soft pad on a DA polisher gives amazing results. Some of the Autobrite products are my favourites
