@@goodjawn610 Oasis, Fairview, Penalty Box, Rainbow, and Quartroom all in Pacific are gone. Stardust, Phil and Eddie's Surf Club, Club Casba, etc all gone. There was always great music all summer long in Wildwood.
@@xpeditededdie3788 I'm not too good with names but I remember always meeting friends at the different bars and clubs there. Havent been in years no reason to go anymore.. I read recently that they have plans to revitalize the city to preserve the original Wildwood look and feel. Hopefully this is on the list.
niceride around wildwood. I think also you should show North wildwood. the summer season will begin soon and would enjoy seeing ho everything looks with more tourist and busniesses open.
We were just down for a 3 day weekend. Felt great walking the boardwalk & getting first slice of boardwalk Sams pizza. At least 10 stores had loads of displays sticking all the way out to tram car concrete. Spent over a hundred dollars on fudge salt water taffies & mints for family and 2 neighbor's. Saw better condition boards on condemed decks. Worst shape that I saw the boards ever. They blame pandamic on everything that gets neglected.
That wawa aesthetic is something you only understand if you're from the east coast.
Wawa is always our first stop when visiting the island. Gas, pitstop and food, then onto the Crusader or Adventurer year after year.........
Same here, wawa, then on to the v. I. P my family owns it, we love it there
Omg im homesick now....thank you for this video!
There is so much construction going on some of it won't be done for summer but some will
everytime i smell the salt water of the place, and the sights of wildwood, i always know im gonna have a good time
OK I'm so jealous how many times a week are you in wildwood lol just kidding I enjoyed every minute of it 👍🐳🙏❤️
So sad looking at Pacific Ave, it used to be the block that rocked.
They did fix up a few of the bars and businesses since this video but you're right it still isn't the same

What a difference a year makes. Almost everything from 9:15 to 9:43 and Margaret Mace at 15:57 has been torn down for new construction

Thanks for commenting James! I do plan on getting thorough drive thru's of all the Wildwoods and much more so stay tuned!
Did you end in West Wildwood? Nice vid, thanks for the memories.
Where I was standing is Wildwood but across the harbor where I was looking is West Wildwood, so close enough, good eye!
9:24 that orange and green building is being moved

Wildwood has so much potential but lacks visionary leadership.
