@@nickysexperience004 TTC has planned to retire these buses in 2021-2024. But they recieved a notice by the Ministry of Environment & Climate Change with regards to concerns over the emissions of this series which is why it retired in 2017-2018 and replaced by Nova Bus LFS buses.
These buses were my childhood you will be missed greatly😫😫😫 Way better than these crappy nova buses
Powertrain
Engine: Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR 8.5L
Transmission: Allison B400R5 WTEC III
Sadly they are retired I wanted to ride one of those when I was 5 years old
This is the end of the Detroit Diesel era
it so sad and devastating to see these beautiful orions from birchmount except for the 7575 to retire
I miss the Orions because there are my favorite buses
Good video Toronto won't be the same without them but at least we still have the 79's
Yep
If you forgetting something, the oldest bus in the active TTC fleet is now #1000, an Orion VII hybrid built in 2005.
Transit Archive Projects actually the orion vii og hevs 1000-1149 are all built in 2006
@@TorontoTransit3722 From what Transit Archive Projects meant was that 1000 was built in late 2005 and was delivered in 2006.

Farewell RIP
Sadly, they are retired... Next up: TTC Subway 106, TTC SRT205 or TTC Streetcar 22
Why did they retire those buses, was it because of the vision system?
The main reason for retiring these buses is because they don't meet the emission standards.
ttc 1323 how so?
