Specific things sort of happen based on the element you choose, which I won't spoil anything but some of the events are different while some are similar or the same. Each one has its own little twist which makes it every much worth your time to listen to other ones
The intro is so adorable! I am also so late to this… but wow, all of these paths have been amazing GB. My theory wheels are heavily turning right now and after listening to all of them so far, these are some of the things that I’ve at least pieced together, following the order of the playlist at least. Including one extra thing that was… well, you’ll see (I’m just writing in the air path video, since again, I’ve gone in order of the playlist, and this was the last video in it) SPOILERS AHEAD!!: Surprise surprise, as much as Tyr is an absolute father figure to tiny listener, there is something much more to him. As he’s said in the Earth path, he’s got more secrets than any of us are aware of. One: Tyr is more than aware of all the paths. In both the Water and Air paths, he refers specifically to the time wheel of that specific path. In air, he even says “looks like we forgot to set this time wheel back to normal” (19:48). I can’t tell who “we” is but I am inclined to presume he refers to the actual listener. Not the tiny one, but the listener beyond the 4th wall, us listening to the videos, because if anyone else was like me, when we reached the end of each path, we tried again in another path, with another video. In the air path, something isn’t normal about it. Two: Tyr has a lot more power and it’s hinted at with not only his character design, but his actions. He has command over his “puppets” as revealed in the Earth path when he puts Fenrir to sleep. Though it was of a kind gesture, even listener verbally questions his morality about it. He even tries to do this command in the Air path, but it sounds interrupted, hence why Fenrir doesn’t relax. In air as well, Tyr says that the symbol on his chest glows brightly when he holds the activated time wheel. The symbol he’s holding is an omega, which means the “Great End” or the end of something. Possibly, the great end of many stories. Not only this, but through all paths, Tyr is labeled “Lord Jupiter,” the “king of gods.” This further proves his dominance over “gods” as Okami and Fenrir are gods in mythology, and he has power over them. Their races have grown from Fenrir and Okami, which as he’s explained in the Water path, have inherited the virus he put in Fenrir and Okimi. Therefore, dominance over all, which Okimi comments on in the Air path. The Time Wheel doesn’t truly “erase time” as what was described. It simply stores it in some way. I’d find it funny if the fact that it’s partially RUclips because it’s somewhere where all of this time is being stored of the paths Now, onto that extra thing I discovered. In each of the paths, the time wheel is destroyed and there is a rewind of shattering and a moment that plays the time Odin cuts off the listener's head. There are mystical “otherworldly” whispers as Odin worries about the tiny listener. Now, years of Film and Game Theory consumption and just over analyzing have taught me, reverse the audio and blast the audio to try to see if there’s something be said. So, that’s what I did. “You’ve” something something “survive”/”survived” is all I could honestly make out, because Odin’s voice is so loud, and I am not experienced in audio editing. The something something though, sounded like “and I’ve” Resulting in what sounds like “You’ve and I’ve survived” And who it sounds like? TYR. Tyr’s just sounding more and more like someone experimenting with how different stories can go and is just giving me butterfly effect kind of vibes. And I am both absolutely excited and for it, but also scared and curious, but curious excitement is outweighing it all.
oh listener was a temple runner. But also running through the temple away from Oden lol xD funny the flying away thing with an air elemental happened to one of my team mates in dnd on a stormy winter planet. We were there for a bounty on feral ice elementals but thrn it became a mission to save our air elemental xD
Now the big question: What. Are. We. Going. To. Do!? I mean what else can we do we literally almost not aport too much to the story but it ended up being our choice. I truly intrigued and worried, is Try good or is the real villain of the history, I don't know, I'm scared, I literally cry and feel so anxious through the whole history, and I'm desperate to know what now. I fucking love it.
I get now they tried four times four different endings and all of them the time will breaks each time so they have to start all over and listener becomes a different element each time so I get it more like in a Time loop and I think listener has a big part it all of this time loop because what he said before breaking it is interesting but that's all they have hope there's one of these
I feel like...each time the Time Wheel breaks, the listener actually KEEPS the memories of the past time, creating a Deus Ex Machina And that somehow Tyr actually does remember too So we're basically two D.E.M.'s Oh boy, if there's ever a part three, probably we're gonna be down MAD great video tho, A B S O L U T E L Y loved it :D
Btw I also notice there some thing on every video like when the giant kind names the door. I mean when I was listening to the water spirit one the giant said the door of heaven witch gives me hint of what door might be correct?
Great story! Loved being tiny and having a father figure This left me with so many questions… Like if it continues will: 1. There be a point where the listener or any other character just loses it? 2. Will the listener chose all of the elements (if possible) And so many more… So many questions…not enough answers
This was such a cool journey! Along with this conclusion of sorts, I also gave The Path Of Water (where I first began with this plotline,) another listen, before moving on to this installment. So, I've now experienced all versions of the storyline. And every one of them has been awesome, absolutely wonderful! 😄 Now that I have the full picture, it's been fascinating to take note of the meaningful similarities/differences in each branching pathway... Both the big and small details, in the dialogue and story progression. Plus, I really do love the cyclical nature of the narrative. Amazing work, in all aspects. For this audio specifically, I loved the parallels between Okami's journal entry, and Fenrir's letter from an earlier part of the series! The conversation between the listener and Fenrir was very interesting, as well! It definitely pulled at my heartstrings, upon first listen. And then, to wrap things up with such an impactful twist... 🤯 It was fantastic! I was thoroughly intrigued and deeply invested, from start to finish! This installment hit so many intensely climactic narrative beats, as did the entire series, of course! All of which were orchestrated perfectly 💜 Again, every audio featured in this plotline has been uniquely captivating. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to enjoy and immerse myself in it! I sincerely applaud everyone involved with this project. I know I've said it before, in my previous comments, but it definitely bears repeating: The writing, the video/thumbnail art pieces, the audio editing, and the fabulously talented cast of voice actors were all such incredible facets of this series. Everything, and everyone, was spectacular!
