We all have a true mate by Almighty God and his son Lord Jesus. If we are saved and do his way and pray and ask he will reveal your true love,God has someone for each and every single one of us. God is love. Before we are ever born he has our life planned out. All my life before being saved I had bad men I begged God I want to do his way and him pick him for me. Learned my lesson 💯 so glad I listened . No regrets. Love this song thank you holy spirit for this song I totally forgot about this song. 💜

The love of my life came to visit me for Christmas 1988 and this song was at the top of the charts. It was one of "our" songs because we were in a long distance relationship. We didn't make it; he found someone else and married her. I never married because he was always in my heart. Fast forward to 2016 when he found me again after they divorced. We are reunited by our hearts now and forever. Love you John.❤💋

Felt even better when the couple were married too - was very sad to hear that - I can remember thinking how can a man and woman who wrote the lyrics and music together like that divorce?I commiserated with them as that happened to me - 32 years married and it seems to happen to anybody!! Catherine Rosewell, Very poignant sentiment! There should be a book called "the throw away society". If there is not already then maybe you should write one. Also, I could not agree with you more, there are no more surprises! It is very sad actually. You grow up thinking that some things last forever and you later find out that the truth is that actually the most precious things in life NEVER last......perhaps that's what makes them so special.

The awesome part about 80s music is that it’s it’s own creation. It sounds nothing like any music before it but it nods to the 50s at the same time. It’s impossible to ignore the 80s music and movies referenced the 50s. Disco truly died. Completely unique sound

I agree 100% with that statement! I am a 90's baby and am in my 20's now, but I always say that I was born too late. The era from the 60's to the late 90's/early 2000's has the best music and movies!
