I have been looking at Meta Box for a while, but didn't really want to sink in financially into another plugin that didn't deliver many of the features that I had come to like in ACF Pro. However, with this new integration, this may very well have me re-thinking the particular set of tools I utilize to bring in both Custom Post Types and their related fields. You're welcome. In some ways Meta Box and JetEngine are more advanced than ACF. Now ACF is planning to have been block creation inside the editor, so i'm looking forward to seeing it.
@@gashumba888 Yes, you can clone (repeater field) fields in Meta Box Lite. If you want to clone nested groups of fields (I've never needed this) you need the Pro version (MB Group).
You wouldn't necessarily. Prior to this Meta Box free didn't have a UI for all of the basic steps, now it is comparable with ACF free, so it is a good alternative.

Meta Box Lite has a few more features and is a bit lightweight.
