Hey friends, with today being the 2 year anniversary of Warzone I decided we do something a bit different, a bit more special here with this one. This is by far the biggest project I think I've ever done on the channel, but it was well worth it to chronical the inception to where we are now. I do hope you enjoy it! This one was a labor of love and goes out to all of you who either stopped by for a bit of news, a loadout, a few tips and tricks, whatever it may be over the last 2 years. I tremendously appreciate the support you've shown in that time, more than you know. While it's normal to look back fondly at where we came from, I'm excited to see what the future holds and what we can do with our community here. Thanks a ton for everything and I'll see you in the next one!
Kudos brother amazing vid!!! MAN I MISS VERDANSK!! I just cant seem to enjoy Calderra. I try and try but just dont enjoy olaying warzone anymore and it breaks my heart…
No joke it actually upsets me seeing Verdansk. The fact it kept everyone connected and playing for hours during covid and now It’s just not the same. Its not because most people have gone back to work and things are going back to “normal” but just because of how bad Caldera is. Ahwel… 😞
Such a great memory during a strange time man. That misty look Verdansk. All meeting up online to drop it together and have a laugh is such a great memory
Caldera isn’t even bad. They fixed most of the bug issues. The only reason people don’t like the map is because no one likes change but the map itself is actually good
Nothing wrong with the map. I never had a problem with the bugs. I had a problem with not being able to jump In and have a laugh. Just full of sweaty cunts and tournaments and wagers every single night. Took the fun away. I just wana be trash and go and have a laugh on there. Best thing I ever did fucking it off.
@@darrellcollins7683 nah most people don’t like it bc it’s an all uphill fight, super campy, and way too much vegetation to see anything 😂 plus Vanguard is widely hated so that didn’t make it any better
Sucks to see how hard the game fell off. Such a great game, such great mechanics, and now look, a frustrating sweaty mess that will never be as good as it was
It only went downhill with the Cold War integration. From that point, it was never and will never be the same. The game's performance dropped significantly. Despite upgrading my PC throughout the game's life cycle, im getting consistently less frames than what I was getting in the first seasons. Cold War weapons were ASS (animations, sounds, floatiness of the weapons), and having to grind for them without the multiplayer was and still is frustrating.
@@fpsplayer66 thing is I realize now how spoiled we were back then even in the Cold War integration cause at least we didn’t have to look up for 85 percent of the game, scared of shadows, only being able to use one smg. We were lucky back then
I have to admit I kinda lost interest when the cold war integration happened. I have high hopes for wz2 though to take us back to the newness with that modern warfare feel. Nice video buddy.
@@gttrmgc3284 true cold war still changed the guns and turned the map old and some mechanics were changed but vanguard made it a trash and changed everything, doesn't feel warzone except rebirth resurgence
MW was my favorite COD since BO2 and the COD game that brought me back to the franchise. First 6 months of Warzone were amazing as well. Haunting of Verdanst was GOATED, as well.
Got my first win on Day 1. 100% didn't know what we were doing in that Trios game. I recall Helos being abused in Solos. Lots of those old huge C4 throws in your footage. Loved the nighttime in the 1st Haunting of Verdansk. And, oh, those Red Doors. You didn't mention Iron Trials LTM, which many streamers loved playing. Your man on the scene approach has helped along the way. Love the game. Still play. Appreciate the hustle.
What a trip down memory lane. Seeing this video has brought up some great memories for the past 2 years, from the launch of MW to the launch of WZ. I started playing Warzone when Season 5 of Modern Warfare launched. Been trying to get into it ever since. I unfortunately missed out on most of the OG WZ events mentioned in this video, but looking at all the events now, they would've been so much fun, especially the Black Ops Cold War reveal event. I can already tell that I'll definitely play WZ 2 more than WZ 1 when it officially launches. Happy 2nd Birthday Warzone!
Man this was epic I loved warzone so much and it’s been depressing watching it slowly die away from mismanagement and slow Integrations. Warzone 2 is super important they need a large casual base of players back.
man, the early stages of modern warfare warzone will always hold a special place in my heart its oddly weird how we all say that we didn't know nothing about what was the meta & just playing casually for fun with friends
I join call of duty by Warzone, and it was right after lockdown I loved the gun play and feel. I owe Warzone so much. The modern warfare time was the best.
The old good warzone with mw guns was the best, I came back to this game recently and the fact that ww2 weapons completely wipe out modern era guns kinda shocked me.
Got into the game a little bit into the DMR meta with my roommates, we got addicted. I remember landing countless times at stadium (when it was fully built up) and not getting loadouts because we didnt know about custom guns, great times
They killed warzone with integrating different cods in it. When i first heard that they are about to merge it with black ops i thought they were joking
MW19’s year of WZ was truly sth special, I would wipe my memory and go back in time just to experience it again, same thing is sorta happening with DMZ right now, but I doubt any year can match the WZ rumor~CW event times, the game is so engaging and the community is fun to be in, unlike now where the game is meh aside from DMZ, and the community has just been disgustingly negative
NGL I thought Season 5 was the low point of Warzone but Cold War and now Vanguard changed my viewing of Season 5 to the extent that I miss that season even with Suldal harbor, Oil Rig (unpopular opinion) and ISO being added, the Stadium opening was nice tho
Just came back to warzone. Rebirth is still fun, but man, do i actually miss verdansk. The new map is good in terms of looks, but every match I experience people camping in bushes, laser beaming me. I have no idea what guns are meta anymore, so I just use my old classes, which perform relatively fine. But overall, the game is just not as good as it once was, for a plethora of reasons. Hopefully this "warzone 2" can improve the experience, and make future game integrations more stable.
great vid my man. this game saved alot of sanity during the covid crisis, hopefully it can get back to the heights of the first haunting event, which for me was the pinnacle of warzone.
Verdansk seems a lot better than it did when we had it. It’s a shame it’s gone now. Also you used to be able to find weapons that aren’t from vanguard on the ground which was much better, there isn’t much ground loot variety anymore.
Man I really do miss the beginning where there was no hacks no unlock tools just pure fun now I feel like there just dragging the game out and now the only way to have fun is to hack cod if your seeing this don’t intergrate the new cod plz
My main gripe with Warzone is that it screwed over MW19 well after MW19 had released. Not just the constant massive updates for MW (that never had anything to do with MW, but CW, then Vanguard) but somehow those updates made the game bugged to all hell. Warzone is fun, but I can’t support it if the devs know it’s going to foul up a game that’s not even 3 years old yet.
I remember how hyped I got during the Know Your History event. Then the last time I truly enjoyed Warzone not counting Resurgence was that Haunting of Verdansk event
I got to level 75 in like a few weeks playing Warzone which is fast for me because literally nobody was sweating, when people fought they didn’t jump around corners and everyone had that god damn Domino skin lmao, and I always died to an rpg on the final circle
Tbh warzone is in a great spot All the people complaining about sweats? That's... literally every single multiplayer game made People wanted new map? We got it. I dont know if anyone else found this glitch but in the fissures or whatever the one downtown it was near those 2 buildings with the hut in the middle and a ladder to go onthe roof if u jumped on like a truck or something it would kill u sometimes instantly sometimes took a bit longer
You know what's weird? The fact that back when cold war was the main game people constantly complain they weren't making changes to the map or really having any events but in comparison to warzones first year Cold war actually made quite a bunch of changes🤔

The streamers aren’t the usual players. Their opinions on things should be disregarded more often than not
It’s really awesome to see how much Warzone has changed in just two years. Definitely has it’s ups and downs

Warzone 2 is super important they need a large casual base of players back.
That 1984 Verdansk was the start of the downfall honestly, we wanted a new map and got CHEESED

This videos could be called the rise and fall of warzone 😢
The bunker and access card update days, before the Cold War integration, was the best Warzone has ever bean, easy. Hope MW 2 holds up.
