Paragliding Competition Mosel Trophy 2023 # Day 4 Impressions

The estimated lower cloud base altitude above ground for 1 p.m. was around 800 meters. Which ist quite low. The forecast for the cloud base altitude throughout the day promised improvement, with it expected to rise to over 1000 meters above ground by 3 p.m.
I didn't want to go with a flight altitude below 800 meters above ground. However, I never reached this altitude. In the end, as time was running out, I took my chance with 400 meters above ground. Surprisingly, things went quite well from there. After approximately 30 kilometers, I landed in Riol, just 8 minutes before the task deadline.
