Hello, thank you for this neon effect video. I need some help please, I’ve been trying to figure out how to change the orange color to another color. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
First, open the smart object by double clicking its thumbnail twice. If you want to apply any color to any layer inside, just double-click the layer itself to open its layer style then select the color overlay property and pick the color you want and click OK. Finally, press CTRL+S to update the smart object.
Thanks for this great tutorial. i used it to create my own pub quiz invitation. Just curious. Any chance to do some effect like blinking sign? Would love to have it as somw kind of animation too.
@@Pixivu hi thanks for your quick reply. The asl files show up in console only not downloads & there appears to no way of moving them to PS to import n use!
Hello _tero, I don't know what do you mean by "show in console only not downloads"? If you can see the styles file, try to drag it on photoshop while it is open or just go to File>Open and shoose the asl file and click OK.
Thanks for the lovely tutorial. I'm facing only one issue that whenever I update my main layer, the design doesn't change Itself. Either I need to go neon and glow layers to update the new design. Why I'm facing this Issue? Thanks for your help.
Yes, that happens because the font thickness is not in the acceptable range which is 55px~58px, You can measure that thickness using the "Ruler Tool" or just use the same font that I'm using with the same font size as a start, then change it after that...

i can't seem to change the radius corner on the rectangle i made because the option isn't showing up?
You can skip it for now and make the mockup on the font only.

You can add any text anywhere. But make sure that you are using the right thickness for both shape and text.

I downloaded the neon styles but it isn't working its size is just 11kb ... pls why is that so ?
It should work, you need to make sure that you are using the same font with the same font size and same image size.

This is one way to do it but... if your images is a different size/resolution the sizes are going to need tweaking in each of the effects...

Base 3 style doesn't work...it's completely invisible. All other styles work ok though.
