No the older one broke their promise then he moved to Seoul. Few years later he came back to his hometown then they met again. You should watch the original too "Unintentional love story" which will be telling about 2 couples love story & these two are the second couple. But I prefer this one eventhough this one is only a spin off but It's definitely worth to watch & I personally think this one way better then the original. I do wish the director will do the Season 2 for this spin off where later we will see how they officially become couple and how their journey will be. Fun fact: The director have plan to do 19+ BL drama for this two characters & I do wish It'll become true. Even these two actors laughing their ass off 😂
