I saw that lighter and had it put away till I could afford to go back for it. It had your name all over it.
Thank you!!
Great way to wake up an a Saturday with a cup of coffee and a knife Dr video. It’s going to be a great day!
Awesomeness!! Thank you!!
I never knew what rostfrei meant but knowing that it means rust free gives me a nice laugh that I never put that together all these years 😂
The case is stag since its starts with a 5 .
Nice mail call this morning! That Schrade Barlow is an interesting knife. The scrolling on the bolster adds something to the overall design. Wenger SAR are great multitools. I bought several for not very much whenever the local Kmart closed up several years ago. They are still in the blister packaging. Your Buck 722 is a sharp one. Buck makes a solid knife at a common man price point. Products that you’ll feel comfortable using everyday. Did you have a chance to checkout the Buck Maverick fixed blade that I had mentioned earlier?
I have not, but I will make a point to do that!!
Buck should probably hire ya! beautiful.
Thank you!!
The more you keep talking about that Buck Spitfire…the more tempted I am to run to the store and pick one up!
You won’t regret it!! I love mine!!
It looks like that removable tool goes on the driver on the bottom of the blade so that It is like a T-driver.
Hey Kevin the case missing the shield is a stag handled knife. On case knives, if it is a stag the first number will be a 5 like this one has. You probably already know this but I wanted to remind you. In other words this knife is worth quite a bit of money.
Starting off my day with the Dr. !
Awesome!!
The Case stockman looks like stag! Nice!!
Cool video many thumbs up.
Yours was the first video of my day. I am in awe of your viewers’ generosity. Great video, Doc.

Semper Fi, brother....
That’s Awesome!! Thanks for all the knives!! Semper-Fi!!
What are the odds that Patrick knew you liked green? You definitely have people's attention Kevin 😊 It's a God given talent of yours brother. Keep being you brother!🫡 ✌🏼👍🏻❤
Kershaw Leek named after the designer, his name is on the blade , nice knife
That 340T has seen better days, but a good one to fix up, I have one that one of my sons gave me years ago for Christmas. Use it every day and it's still almost like new.
What fantastic packages from two different watchers in FL and WI. The two Wengers were amazing ... I too had never seen the removeable, right-angled screw/socket driver on a pocket knife, as well as a parcel/snap hook that large. Those pre/post WW2 knives will be great keepers once refurbished. Nice find on the 100yr celebratory Buck Spitfire as well.
Its like Christmas morning everyday. Great video
Thank you!!
Glad you got your box of knives enjoy
Thanks again!!
Great gifts and a very good repair💯 saved another one 👍🏆🥇
I have the same Schrade 206 but found it new old stock in Kentucky antique store for $35
Neat Wenger
I collect Manicure Knives too and recently bought an antique Hartkopf MoP for $20 in new condition at a Tractor Show
Wow Kevin What a haul
That Kershaw is a White Dream carving knife 3" blade I believe. About $60 new.
That Wonder knife is a gem of a gift!😊
Nice save.
Thank you!!
I really enjoy your unboxing videos!
Thank you!!
I got that same buck! I got it from a pawnshop still new in box for $20! Mine is a 2003 model.
Good stuff brother👍
Omg that schrade Barlow looks so nice😊
Wow the Wenger is a great piece of art! ❤ Wild 😊
your vewers continue to keep you busy saving knives
That's another great video Kevin. Those are some nice knives! You have a sweet Buck now, it turned out great. I'm thinking of getting a Spitfire now. And maybe the Buck Hiline XL.
Awesome!!
Amazing how many blades I have never seen before , so many awesome knives.
Great Job Brother !! 👍✌🏻🤙🙏🏼🇨🇦😊
Thank you!!
Solid work, and thanks for sharing. Thanks man, have a good weekend. God bless
Man that wood is gorgeous. I got a knife I am working on and would love to get my hands on that zebra wood. #DSKFS do something kind for someone. This is a great example
Top of the morning Doc 👍🇺🇸
Good Morning!!
The Case stockman is stag. First number is 5 and that is stag. It has a nice pocket worn look to it.
Those are some cool Swiss Army knives. The different combos of tool they put on those is always interesting. I bought one while I was stationed in Italy that had a survival kit in the sheath.
All comes down to steel and materials. The spitfire has bottom barrel steel with stainless steel handles and 420 steel, case might use S30V or Magnacut which are insanely better steels at everything. It’s all about your budget and how well you want your knife to perform and most knives once you cross that $100 mark are going to perform better than anything under.
The Spitfire has Aluminum handles and 420 HC steel is good stuff. The Spitfire is an awesome knife and the design is superb! CASE modern knives are Ugly and very expensive. I stand by my statement. I love CASE, but they need to do better with their design and pricing.
waiting for someone to send you a GEC !
Patrick gave you a Kershaw Leak by Ken Onion. only the Buck 110 has sold more!
WOW! It’s a great knife!
Found a brand new, sealed, Buck 722 Spitfire on ebay last week for $29!
That’s Awesome!!
Kershaw Leeks 😊
Great start to my Day. I look forward to your daily videos. That was another fantastic mail call. Nice job on the blade repair! Have a great weekend brother!!
Thank you!!
That case is actually stag not bone, nice video as usual
Love the buck spitfire solid working knife
Kershaw Leek. Ken Onion design.
That case is Stag!
Yeah, times are rough, but $200 for an ugly knife, naw. No thabks. On point there, sir.
Wasnt the case stockman a genuine stag handle
Kershaws a Leak..
Ok you Case guy's,,,, no pilings on the Rabbit,,, he's giving Case the Truth, as his experience dictates. My experience is 200 dollars is harsh. Do better Case.
We still love ya.
You do know that BUCK will put a new blade on their USA made knives for you as part of the warranty?
Yes, but I buy them to repair them. Thanks for the suggestion though!!
Kershaw Leek
The Case Stag with missing shield is just like one of mine. I tried two times to get one from Case but all I got was talk.
I’m starting to dislike Case. There not very responsive and not nice to VETS, First Responders, Active Duty Military and they over price their modern day folders. BUCK is the opposite of CASE! They’re awesome.
The reason the Case costs more is the handle is G-10 not plastic like the Buck and the blade is CPM 20-CS Super Steel not soft 420HC like the Buck. Plus the Case has a lanyard tube.
Yep. It’s almost an incomparable topic. It’s like comparing a Kershaw Leek to a Spyderco Delica. Delica will out perform the Leek any day just based off the steel itself, even if it is just vg10 lol
I’ll put the Buck Spit fire against any case Knife Modern Folder. It has Aluminum Handles. 420 HC steel is good in my book. I love case, but I know if Buck can make an AFFORDABLE Modern Folder So can CASE. Plus, the CASE modern folders are UGLY. I wouldn’t buy them if they were affordable.
It’s not an incomparable topic. BUCK makes a very Nice AFFORDABLE MODERN folder and Case doesn’t. Simple!! I’ll put the BUCK SPITFIRE up against any CASE XX modern folder as they stand. Another thing CASE makes an UGLY modern folder. The Spit Fire is the Perfect EDC Knife in my book. Go ahead and use that $200 knife where I use my $49 Spitfire…😁
@@theknifedoctor regardless of how you feel about the spitfire, the modern Case’s would still out perform it. The Spitfire is a great knife for the price range it is in, but compared to a Case Marillo in CPM Magnacut the spitfire doesn’t stand a chance. The Marillo is also a very comfortable ergonomic design. 420HC is a super soft cheap steel. It’s all based on how much money you wanna spend. The more money you spend, the more premium materials you’re gonna get.
@@westondavis9626 again…the point I was making is that CASE doesn’t do well on the design nor do they have an AFFORDABLE modern Folder.
Wenger roller skate key knife
I collect German knives buck knives Japanese knives just a little ebut then I am starting to think repairing,
Synchronicity in several of your vids...interesting.
The case modern folder handles look like tie dye t-shirts. Don't understand the choice on that.
Me either.
Rostfrei is actually pronounced roast fry.
Hey man I have my father in laws knife I’ve seen floating around my house. He’s a full bird colonel retired. He’s from Kansas City best I can tell this knife is from KC as well. The stamp mark is old I need help identifying it before I start a restoration of it. It looks like it’s had years of wear and I’d like to clean it up good and give it back to him. Any help finding out what it is would be appreciated thanks
Send me a picture and I will see what I can do. knifeproxx@gmail.com
What model Wenger is that? Please and Thank You.
I’m not sure! I’m going to have to look it up. I don’t see it on the box.
👍✌️❤️🇨🇦
Do you sell any the restored knives?
No. Thanks for asking though.
