Andy. Good lad. Young generation don't like hurting when they work. I think trying to quit drinking by being a fishing man is a unique notion though. Lol. All the best to this Andy that's at least trying. Gotta say, the money could be better for what you give in that job.
massive respect to that new guy for taking the bull by the horns & going out there to prove his worth. new generation aren’t nothing like this these days hats off to him 🫡👏🏽👏🏽
I always wondered that. I moved away from Penzance 2 years back but when this show came out I never actually saw him kicking about town. I hope he cleaned up because I never saw him in any pubs. I have so much respect for guys like him who made a mistake and then went out and worked his ass off to provide for his family
Auto pilot breaks, Use your noggin and use your skills instead of relying on the computer They love over dramatising this show for entertainment purposes
@@simonm7375 i have actually buddy for 15 years of my life. Don’t always need auto pilot. Not if you have the necessary skills The point is the show is over dramatised for entertainment purposes Guess you can’t see that PAL
@@davidburley106 we have the skills, we have the tickets too, but as your experience will tell you, it makes a hard job harder, takes a lot more concentration and adds a huge pressure to an already tired crew. @@davidburley106 OK, fair point and if we were at sea and the auto pilot went down we'd carry on and manage, as we have done on many occasions, but starting out a trip without one is a whole different decision. I'm maybe a bit defensive because of the over editing. We tried to show the true reality of fishing and it was completely over edited and mashed back together.
I just love when a captain curse is so much my type of show. I subscribed to your channel just keep uploading and I will continue watching
spectacular programming. Thank you for educating us about commercial fishing, especially in the post Brexit world.

Correct age does not set your limits; you do. He is my generation who it is second nature to be uncomfortable.

My ex was a tuna fisherman in Oregon, and too dangerous. It isn't worth it
WTH is wrong with Europe? No comments? Is fishing and hard work offensive across the pond?
What makes you say that
These are a bunch of criminals compared to Trawlermen
Miss stevie
Skipper A.K.A. Mel Gibson...
how much do these people actually make realistically?
Varies every week

Hate this new trend of saying love you at the end of a phone call , even if they speak to that person 5 times a day
Why not say it when you work the most dangerous job in the world you flop
