That's the sweet irony of crafting in pd2. U couldn't even script sometimes as bitter-sweetly as things turn out!! Although I guess the odds of crafting the good, and then on top of that getting a good slam on thst craft are astronomically high
As a guy who did probably 1000 crafts is Season 9, I feel you pain. Dang man, it's better to have never had it at all, than to have it and lose it.

ouchie! If i can ask, is throwing weapons a typical craft for trading high value? Or you looking to make a build around one? I havent done any weapon crafting yet, so its pretty new to me in PD2. Mostly just safety belts & blood rings/gloves
Definitely just for resale, fun, and YT content, although I would've considered making a build around this particular craft. My sites are usually set on 400-500ed, not potentially 600+, so I might have kept this one in this instance.
I pretty much just does throw weapons, melee claws, and sometimes caster amulets. I've tried caster necro heads and pelts before, but there are so many damn variables that nothing comes remotely close, unfortunately.

I did like 1.200 blood crafts on throw weapons. And the highest I got so far was 389ed and that I bricked right away...How can you be so lucky and get 599ed wtf :D
Super surreal to see such a number. I sometimes forget it's real, because in all my commentaries I usually talk about breaking 400 to be happy, even though 600+ is possible too..haha. GL with your crafts!

RIP Sick axe. I have a question about Jewel Fragments. Does it matter what item level the stack of fragments has for crafting?
Nope, the jewel ilvl doesn't matter on PD2 or on D2R/LoD. The crafted item takes into account the ilvl of the base item, as well as the level of the character crafting (clvl ).
The equation is: item ilvl / 2 (rounded down) + clvl / 2 (rounded down) = craft ilvl
The equation only really matters with caster amulets though. You want to be level 93 to get the minimum ilvl from gambled amulets, so the crafted amulet is ilvl 90. For crafted weapons on LoD I think you only needed a ilvl 75 or something. On PD2 I think you're guaranteed maximum affixes at level 80 iirc, but forget that detail.

I never seen 599 on a regualar weapon jesus. aint that close to the very max?
I believe so. In LoD the max on a rare is 450, so I'm not sure which affix got added to the pool of attributes. Previously it was cruel 300 + master's 150, but even if the grandmaster's 200 was added, it wouldn't be high enough for what I've seen. My highest rare is 545, so the base max is either 550 or 600 and the blood craft adds another 50-80, so 630 might be max for blood crafts.

DW I also brick everything I corrupt like a 60 20 10 anni on like day 3 or so 😂 or all sojs I found and bought (8 x 20% mana) 6 of EM bricked and 2 bad corr. Also like 6 perf and near perf Griffon's.... My slams this season Is pure nightmare

My highest was way over 400ed rare, sadly in a Not so godly Base. With 2os and 2 dol runes i got IT over 500ed.
Yeah, that's always bummer when the base isn't ideal. I've found so many godly claws that would've been so much better had they been in a war fist.

On PD2 upping is the last step after corrupting and/or socketing, because if the item doesn't survive those steps, then there's no point using an um and fal to see the elite version. With that being said, I would've liked to have seen the damage in the elite form. I don't know the calculation on PD2 with how they altered eth weapons.

Anyone got a filter that can point out these eths better ? I dont usually find many and i imagine im looking over em.
I use kryszard's, which shows the normal and exceptional version of craft bases. Definitely take the time to learn all the useful ones if you're not familiar. It took me a bit, but now my eye looks for all the different names besides the elite bases. Definitely consider crafting non-eth bases as well, because so few eth bases drop.
@@Spanxxxy I used whatever came with the loader. Think its called Tal Rasha's. I know the names of the items just Ive seen people who got good filters and it helps.
Also they are rare to me at least to find. I dont play LOT lot.

Yeah, I think it may have been 5% louder than my usual. It's always quieter when I listen with airpods or just with my phone, but I can see it being a little loud with a headset. Appreciate the feedback.

Noper, there are a handful of uniques that are better than the brick. It would only be useful the first day or two on a ladder reset. The ED needs to be at least 300 to beat out some uniques.
