    Thanks for this testimony. I chose #CCWSafe after viewing Attorney Branca's DVD on the self defense plans and HIS stated choice of #CCWSafe. Thanks #CCWSafe. Best to Mike and his family as they were all collateral damage to the assailant's actions. I hope after these three years there is a sense of normalcy in their lives and a chance for healing. Semper Fi!

    Mike, thanks for sharing your experience with the rest of the world. Judging by the camera angle and the lack of details about your last name and the place and date of the incident, I'm guessing you were very cautious about and perhaps reluctant to speak about it. But I appreciate it all the same.
    Some might say this conversation was unpolished and awkward at times. So what? Just adds to the credibility and authenticity IMO. Not every member of CCW safe is going to be a polished and practiced communicator.

    I believe it does no one any good to hide the other two insurance companies. Also, you could have explained exactly what happens when there is more than one insurance and how they attempt to weasel out of paying, exactly like any other insurance company will do. After comparing the company I have been with for 10 years and CCW Safe, I believe I would be better served with CCW Safe coverage.

    Received this notification from CCWSAFE regarding member coverage: 12-1-20
    Unfortunately, they are right. We cannot cover any members in the state of NJ. This is the only state that we cannot cover members in. You are covered in all other states. We are working on getting this changed, however NJ government officials are not very willing to even respond. I will report the call center problems to our COO, who takes care of that. I am sorry for your experience there. We are working on bringing all calls back in house.

      USCCA's insurance policy says that it is "Excess Insurance." This just now copied and pasted from that insurance policy:
      2. Excess Insurance
      a. This insurance is excess over any other valid and collectible insurance purchased by the
      “insured”, whether primary, excess, contingent or on any other basis, that applies to an
      “occurrence” or “covered legal liability” to which this insurance also applies;
      b. When this insurance is excess, we will have no duty under this Coverage to defend the
      “insured” against any "claim" or suit if any other insurer has a duty to defend the “insured”
      against that "claim" or suit. If no other insurer defends, we will undertake to do so, but we
      will be entitled to the “insured's” rights against all those other insurers.
      c. When this insurance is excess over other insurance, we will pay only our share of the
      amount of the loss, if any, that exceeds the sum of:
      1. The total amount that all such other insurance would pay for the loss in the absence of
      this insurance; and
      2. The total of all deductible and self-insured amounts under all other insurance.
      d. We will share the remaining loss, if any, with any other insurance that is not described in
      this Excess Insurance provision and was not bought specifically to apply in excess of the
      Limits of Insurance shown in the Declarations of this policy.

    • @fog8969

      As with USCCA, CCW SAFE's Terms of Service says that their civil liability award insurance is "Excess Insurance " That means that it only pays what's left over after any other liability insurance you have pays out. That could be something like homeowners or renters and any umbrella coverage on those.

    • @fog8969
      @fog8969 Год назад

      You should read the CCW Safe Terms of Service, too. As with USCCA's civil liability insurance, they say that their insurance policy that covers civil liability awards against you is "Excess" insurance. In other words, it only pays after whatever your other liability insurance, if any, pays out. Check the details of any homeowners or renters or umbrella policy you might have. I suppose that's typical of this kind of insurance. I think umbrella coverage is the same. It pays after your auto or home or whatever coverage pays out

    • @fog8969
      @fog8969 Год назад

      I'll also note that no matter how good the coverage we get and no matter how good the guys behind the coverage, like those at CCW Safe, none of us should ever place our hope on them. Best thing is to always avoid any and all prospective trouble so thought we will never need them, and if we do come to need them, put all our trust in God.

      Former hard core homicide investigator, expert interrogator, could intimidate a false confession out of you just by staring at your weakling face with his gruffness and piercing eyes. Have you shaking in your chair inside two minutes. But an amateur at being a RUclips interviewer. But that's fine with me. There is no fluff to these guys. They've done entire careers working on the other side, sent hundreds of people to prison, some of them even innocent. They know all the bad in the way investigators and prosecutors work when just looking to get a conviction. They have it in their blood. I'm not looking for fluff. I'm not looking for daily give-aways or range bags or other merch. I'm not looking for window stickers. I'm not looking for a magazine full of advertisements. I'm not looking for a member online forum full of old retired farts who have nothing better to do all day than sit around posting funny memes. I'm not looking for a 2A lobbyist. I'm looking for good, solid, matter of fact coverage.
