Honestly, I was not prepared for the upgrade in cinematography since i last watched this channel. There where some really nice shots in this.
I actually started as a videographer years ago. It's just difficult juggling production value and caring for the birds at the same time. This video took me considerably longer to make.

Man I remember back in the day when it was just you and Ripley hanging out in your living room, your progress in getting to this point has been amazing despite the hardships.

They all look so happy and healthy! MUCH better than a hamster cage! And you're right, it's not a cage, it's a clubhouse for them.
You can immediately tell the birds are SO happy with their new enclosure. Awesome to see them bouncing between branches and flying around. I'm also super glad you're still around and passionate about these guys, they need you.

Really inspiring video with some beautiful shots of the birds. I especially enjoyed seeing Beatrix as I started following the channel not long before you went to get her and I remember how sick and scared she was in the beginning. It’s amazing to see her hopping around, foraging, taking food from your hand and just doing toucan stuff with her own kind! Her body language is just so much more relaxed now. Hard to believe she’s the same bird 🥹 Well done Brock, hope you are proud. You’ve done good by your birds.

Nothing quite beats seeing a tucan in person when they fly. They're SO agile, and SO much bigger than they look on video. It's really cool to see how nimble they are!

You should keep the old one available for quarantine, good idea. use it normal without new birds but be able to close it off as needed.

That's an awesome aviary which is good for these birds are wild exotic animals even in captivity. They're not house pets, are they? Well yes, sometimes they are for you, but they don't do good in your home like in aviary. I expect you'll be making more videos soon when you get a new bird. Sorry for your loss. It's OK for us men to cry sometimes. I cry about how America is going quite often. Lucky Florida man! Florida is so beautiful for birds, fish, outdoors, animals, and all that. I want out of Utah for it's like Mars being too sparse for it's a very fragile and damaged desert ecosystem. So freezing cold now.

Congratulations! Looks beautiful! I have had iguanas and a big boa constrictor. I built a big enclosure for the snake and can concur, costs add up quickly and unexpectedly. Its a lot of work and little dumb stuff like screws cost more than I expected too. The misters will probably be a nice Brock cooling system as well if your miserable hot summer was anything like mine. Keep soldiering on with ongoing mental health challenges. Thank goodness for our pets to help us through. Hope you feel ok about committing to not moving, but housing costs, hoa rules, and wacky neighbors are all significant unknown variables that may actually end up making where you are more ideal. Lotsa love from California.

Seriously amazing job! These guys are living the dream, if only all birds had it this good in captivity. Truly a rags to riches story for Bea and Jade. Hopefully more people will be encouraged to up there game(maybe not to this extent), with there bird keeping after seeing this. Pets are not furniture or toys, we truly enjoy them and are enriched by them when there in there element like this. Its a win win for both. Again, amazing job, you have every right to be proud. I really wish there were more people that go to the extreme for there pets like you do. When i adopted some rabbits i almost wanted to yell at there owners bc of the very small space they had. I know sometimes people can't afford huge areas for there pets but you usually can tell the difference in a good or bad owner

If you wanted to make some money to help support your toucans.... The music in the background, some good cameras 24 hours, toucans,😀, a fountain/ misters in the background and you would have a chilled out 24 hour Toucan cam. I would put that on in the background for hour. Wishing you all the best. Blessings 🙏

What's the wildlife in your area like? Is there a real risk of something coming in to tear up the aviary? What's the plan for that papaya tree, since it seems like it's already reaching the upper limit of height in there?

Brock, amazing environment. I agree with you, some perches way up high in the back by window is an excellent idea. Toucans perch as high as possible at night, it makes them feel much safer. I have had many species of toucans . I absolutely love them. However as I watched you walking around in there, I got very nervous for your face and eye protection. Unfortunately, in my experience (only can say my experience). Every single species I had when they reached sexual maturity got extremely aggressive. I would actually recommend you never put a large nesting box in there, cause within min all HE** could break loose, and I sure know from my experience that, even tho they were perhaps hand fed? When they hit that age, they became so aggressive I couldn't hold them anymore, even walking by avairy they got so aggressive trying to attack me thru wire. I even had Acarcis flew across kitchen after I gave them bath in sink which they used to love? Right at my face, thankgoodness I had glasses on!! So PLEASE be careful inside there enclosure. They get very territorial, especially if there is a male and female, I can't say they would if 3 different species, but if you have a male female over about 2 years of age. Please be careful, and watch there body language. The Avairy is beautiful!! I wish I lived in a climate I could have kept them outside, Mine were in large sunroom avairy. But not as good as outside. Your heart ❤is in the right place.
