Beautifully iconic! Apple, as much as I dislike iOS for being so restrictive, you always blow my mind with the elegance of your buildings and products!
Aside from the features in iOS, its architecture is superior to Android and runs with more efficiency and less overhead. That's why a dual-core CPU and 2GB RAM is able to compete with Android phones boasting 4GB and quad-core CPU.
We started by asking ourselves, what shape is the most dynamic shape available on earth? What shape will offer the most intuitive and magical experience over and over again? When aliens cross space and time to explore and reach out to earth, what shape do they trust their vehicles to be? How does one design a building that never begins and never ends? And we realized it had to be the circle. Constructed of 100% alloy alu-minium, and gold, our circular campus has been carved out of one massive sheet of metal and glass.
I'd love to see more interior and night shots. Aside from the landscaping, Phase 1 is pretty much done (phase 2 yet to begin). The interior is really the mystery.
I remember Steve Jobs saying how no company in the world could give them the curved glass that they wanted for the main building. Looking at 0:55 and 1:21 and I can see why! He said they worked out how to do it themselves. I can't wait to see it one day - it looks nothing short of incredible.
Hola Carlos, Atari por su trabajo le paga el pasaje a la India. wow! donde allá , en la India. vio otra realidad. que sin duda lo preocupo para después ocuparse.
Cupertino regulation mandates certain number of carapaces for office buildings...so they are simply abiding by council regulation. I am sure they will utilise transport buses, etc. Can you imagine trying to leave that place at peak hour??
Has anybody noticed the sight lines relative to the main building? Only the top two floors seem to have any views out at all. (Forget about seeing in from the surrounding neighborhood! ) The height of the auditorium entrance seems to be very high. It looks like it's at 3rd-floor level. Can't tell from the video though. www.archdaily.com/160044/more-about-foster-partners-new-apple-campus-in-cupertino
C Tsuma Without asking why, just know someone will one day feel the same way about you. When the dead aren't here to defend themselves, its easy to curse them - which is why you shouldn't.
erm, it looks like you will have to walk a thousand miles to just get to the other end of the building. As opposed to a vertical office building which you can access all the offices very quickly.
At 01:23 and 03:19 you can see what looks to be cube farms. This will not be a fun place to work, but it's better than the Chinese buildings where people want to commit suicide.
Most places are like that.. These are software engineers and mechanical engineers for the most part that work in their computers all day, like 10s of thousands of people. Developing an OS or a new product takes a lot of people so it's obvious they're not gonna give every developer a huge ass space. It's their job not a fucking playground. Plus it's not like they have an enormous campus to walk around on their breaks.
Never bought one and never will. Overpriced garbage as far as I'm concerned, people are brainwashed into thinking Apple is great. Marketing at its best.
bulbadox this project indeed costed Apple 5 billion dollars but that only took away 2% of the money they have to spare. Believe me this company is immensely rich.
Wow it's beautiful. Its still unbelievable that a team of humans can make something like this happen
The best bit starts at 3:18

that last night shot is pretty nice
You are getting more adventurous with the drone! The shots are closer!
Great videos as always!
Master Piece Loved it completely.
the music is semi-brilliant. really makes me look in awe at all the attention to detail and how wonderfully this is coming together
I call it insipid corporate bathroom muzak. I have to mute to avoid hating what is otherwise a very welcome and nicely shot video.
wish jobs was alive to see his creation 🙁
Can you hear the voice of Jonathan Ive describing all the amazing features from the campus?

ahahah i read your comment with jony ive´s voice in my head
lol icing on the cake
"How does one design a building that never begins and never ends?" Welcome... To the infinity loop :P
hahaha, thank you for this.
From a garage to this. Quite the transformation.
The night shots were _awesome_. This is some of your best work, IMHO.
Very nice building and great footage. I'm surprised your drone wasn't shot down by some Apple Security people lol
I'm not a Apple's fan, but this campus is beautiful.
MayuriK this is Steve Jobs legacy.... it had to be great
I'd love to see more interior and night shots. Aside from the landscaping, Phase 1 is pretty much done (phase 2 yet to begin). The interior is really the mystery.
Wow I like this so much
Beautiful shots, especially the ones shot at night!
The night shots were visually awesome, well done, as usual......
Amazing, beautiful just like apple products, I wanna visit when they open.
Wow such a beautiful futuristic campus. Does anyone know the name of this music?
Amazing footage. Many many thanks for sharing.
Love the night photos!
Amazing footage! The campus looks incredible.
+David Di Franco thanks!
No AUTHORITY. DENIED REQUEST!!!!!
I used to get down voted for saying it would be late summer 2017 when its completed.
Very beautiful video, thank you for sharing your amazing video
Great video.
And the music is.....?
the lights are on 😀 it looks amazing
wow beautifully filmed.
Dope.
Amazing Night Viewing

can i ask where you got this song from?
Maravillosa la escena nocturna. Duncan, has hecho magia 🙏
Outstanding footage. Many thanks for sharing. Which drone / camera are you flying?
Thanks! DJI Inspire 1Pro.
Did you have just one pilot or did you have a second running the camera gimbal?
trade secret
I feel sorry for the dude that has to mow that lawn every couple of weeks once they get grass growing everywhere. Fulltime job right there
Hi Duncan, beautiful footage! Would you mind us sharing across social with full credits?
Apple Park reminds me of a university campus-well-kept, bike trails, trees, outdoors. lol
Amazing. Good job.
muy buenas tomas! Thank!
Impressed!
So I guess this is why I paid 999 for my iPhone and 4399 for my iMac?
Apple better make an unbelievably awesome IPhone 8! You hear me Apple...
Very good!
What music is that you use background for this video? Thank you
Its outstanding, Wow :)
Looks like there's still a lot more to do than finishing touches , when is the est completion date
Feels futuristic until you see the parking garage. Do people (with a decent education/job) still accept commuting by private car as an option?
Cupertino regulation mandates certain number of carapaces for office buildings...so they are simply abiding by council regulation. I am sure they will utilise transport buses, etc. Can you imagine trying to leave that place at peak hour??
This campus will be a Mecca for tech nerds (all of us), a Mecca for architecture nerds, a Mecca for landscaping nerds, for carpark nerds, etc etc
Strange, Facebook won't let me share this URL. I've never seen this with any other RUclips video.
Wow it was much bigger than I expected.
amazing
Hi Duncan, I am the lighting manager for the Brixton Academy in London. Would you mind giving me the details of this song? Many thanks. James.
2 guys in a garage, 35 years later , unbelievable.

What's the name of the music/track/artist?
Music?
I'm interested to learn what design approaches are incorporated to cope with earthquakes.
And you base that claim on...?
Any chance for Tesla gigafactory update?
i would love to work there
Next wonder of the world.
Apple hat einfach Geschmack👌🏼
Steve would be fucking proud😂
Wow!😳😱👏🏻
Cool
Looks like an airport!
I hope most of the trees will live.
I know that apple ( David Muffly. ) forwarded the website to some oak community to find the oak trees. Something that was specific to the region.
I think they should put a mini landscape in the middle. With grass, trees, hills and maybe a creek
Pretty sure that's what they're doing
divad S yeah I know but they will have cars running through it and stuff
I don't think so. It will just be a maintenance route.
Scott Robertson that not true notice the parking garage at 2:47
The tunnel is a roadway to get outside. And the building is not big enough to be a garage, it's just for keeping things in.
"THE CIRCLE"
Do you have permission to be flying there? Seems pretty illegal to be flying that low over an active construction site on private property...
Uhh it's May, are you slacking over there 😂😂
Good secondary campus for the NSA.
too bad Steve isn't here to see it...
C Tsuma Without asking why, just know someone will one day feel the same way about you. When the dead aren't here to defend themselves, its easy to curse them - which is why you shouldn't.
fark theyve even got there own little forest, jonys thought of everything. you could walk through that forest without ever worrying about being raped.
the have the cash to buy the whole state
erm, it looks like you will have to walk a thousand miles to just get to the other end of the building. As opposed to a vertical office building which you can access all the offices very quickly.
Good! Desk-bound people can use some exercise!
Bubba Fish They utilize iJetpacks 1.0 from the roof to get to various departments of the building. Haven't you heard?
as of what I've heard bikes and small busses will be provided to the employees

I understand why Apple products are overpriced now
Never bought one and never will. Overpriced garbage as far as I'm concerned, people are brainwashed into thinking Apple is great. Marketing at its best.
Ccleanerable this indeed cost 5 billions dollars to build. But that only took away 2% of apple's huge amount of money that they have to spare.
it a lovable beautiful awsom Apple I PHONE Watch give away Free
in memory of steve jobs
what a waste, all that money could have gone into innovation like the pretty iphone 8 instead of an ugly one.
bulbadox this project indeed costed Apple 5 billion dollars but that only took away 2% of the money they have to spare. Believe me this company is immensely rich.
Its nothing to do with how much money they have, its about where their priorities lie.
OK. Apples knows how to build buildings. They should try to build good computers too. Maybe they can.
They designed the building but they are not building it.
First!
