Did you know that Mima Ito was once the greatest threat to Chinese table tennis? She had the highest win rate against chinese players until they have adapted to her gameplay. Prithika is the rising star of France.
I don't know why but this match reminds me France vs Argentina during the Football World Cup 2018 when France was dominated 2-0 and then reversed the score and throw out Messi and Argentina.
Probably the lowest point Ito Mima's reached since she won the gold medal in 2021. I thought there was a slight upturn this year, but the last two tournaments have been really weak. She lost all confidence, and most of her rallying ability from multiple matchpoint up. Pavade, mostly, just got the ball back and watched her dump the first backhand into the net, or over hit her forehand smashes. At the moment she's heading for a long break from table tennis, maybe early retirement. Her pride won't let her endure losses like this indefinitely. Part of me still hopes she can come back, but it looks very unlikely at the moment. Thank you poster: not pleasant to watch, unless you're a Pavade fan, but necessary for Ito fans.
I'm confident. She'll come back strongest. She is young (23 years old) and she is the strongest and experienced player on her national team, she is one of the best players in the world and still has to learn to improve her game. All players have a bad pass on their career during a period they succeeded loss. Ma Long or Fan Zhendong are not excluded but even with age, they come back to the top. In football, Messi had the same way when France beat him and his national team in the World Cup 2018. But, he came back stronger and kick their ass off and won the last World Cup. I'm sure Mima Ito will come back strongest and win other major trophy (World Cup, World Championship, Olympic Games, Big Smash Tournaments...)
@@Meatybun Huh....People who thought Mima Ito was finished because she was on a bad pass since a couple of months, who got mostly beated by many opponents, trusting she'll never win a big title again and need to retire, who had right? 😝 She came back in the 8th place tackling Miwa Harimoto and won a big title with the WTT Star Contender Bangkok. With this results, she should normally be qualified for the Olympic Games in France. Too bad for her she will not be in the part for this competition.
@@Meatybun Yeah but we already know that she was not qualified on olympics. Maybe it's laughable for you that's your problem. But it's still a champion who won a competition with some of top players on it even if the best of the best are not here. And this one was not an easy one. Sorry for you.

waiting for miwa vs prithika.. it could be epic battle..
For sure it would be an epic one! Prithika and Miwa has gotten stronger. I'd say 60% Miwa would win, 40% on Prithika but I could be wrong
Saya kira prithika akan d😅ihabisi miwa , prithika memang keras pukulannya tetapi lambat dalam adu relly , miwa , hayata , hirano adalah pemain cepat😅
少しでもリードしているとヘラヘラして、特に自分より格下の選手に対して
Belittling the opponent and getting comfortable is ito's mistake
Mima Ito is getting washed out. Her strategy isn't working anymore.
Mima ito do hard
伊藤美誠、7ゲームだったら勝てたかも、元気の良い選手の気迫に押されていたね。落ち着きをなくしてた。

Pavade did not win, Ito lost
