    • @JuanHidalgoMiniatures
      @JuanHidalgoMiniatures  2 года назад

      The initial sketch has to be done thinking about the four sources of light I explain in the beginning. You need to imagine them based on those.
      As for the final white reflections, it's more instinct than anything, imagine where light would reflect off the surface. I suggest you take a look at nmm minis and learn from them, also classic paintings by the masters are an amazing resource to understand NMM.

      No ratios, each paint from each manufacturer is different and requires different amount of water, it's something you need to learn to do by feel sorry.

    Late to the party, video is a year old...
    Could you maybe do a NMM example of something in a mix of your Steel and White videos. Want to see a "White Steel"

    Damn your tutorial got me to paint my first successful nmm :-) imgur.com/gallery/nPG4XA5
    What would have really would help too is adding the Vallejo alternative for colours too.. I used GC Turquoise, GC heavy bluegrey and some night blue to darken the tone a little.

      I don't know the Vallejo range at all so I have no idea about alternatives sorry.
      That looks great to me, well done

      Videos can make colours look different. Your screen might too.

      I was genuinely the first one to use it, the rest are just copycats.

    Isn't realistic??? Dude don't fucking short sell yourself here, this is the most realistic paint job I've ever seen on a Warhammer model... I've watched probably 2 maybe 3 hundred hours of paint video the past few days and this is the best of them all. I mean there's some fantastic painters out here and you have literally dwarfed them all. If they are masters of the craft then you are the fucking grandmaster. They don't come close

    Sorely tempted to do an entire grey nights army like this, but doing just 5 guys in gold NMM took me 2 months!😂
