I beg to differ with that first statement. 'God' can indeed stand for you. Even the bible says that the holyspirit intercedes for us. In that moment, he is 'standing' for you

Romans 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. God will always stand for His people, even when we think God is not standing for us. All things are working together for our good, even when we think, "How could this work together for my good?".
