I use to love going to the tiki cove when I was kid. It felt so glamorous. I remember it as a restaurant.

Damn If it wasn’t so dilapidated it could’ve made for a decent mall of some sort as Fairbanks is sorely missing a decent sized mall

And lots of homeless who walk around it while it is empty... how shameful.

I ate there and the food was just okay, nothing special. Fairbanks should ask De facto WA DC for assistance in demolishing the building since they have lots of experience from their Oklahoma federal building, WTC 1,2,6,&7 - they can just light it on fire with some jet fuel and it will fall into its own footprint.

@@7604zm Clearly you know nothing about Fairbanks.. instead of just letting space go to waste and poor people die in the cold, the local govt could do it's actual only job and serve the people.

Is it? Is that why all that equipment is on that road?! 😨 I was wondering about the road closure for seemingly no reason. Pretty late in the season to take on project like that 😳
