Can we please get a guided tour about the pilot comfort on A350, such as seat reclining and adjusting, table, footrest, and escape plan through the window?
THERE IS NO WINDOWN ?!?!?! Isn't that crazy, the escape hatch is in the cornor of the cockpit. They have to step on the chair to even get out, its very odd.
You look like you are very happy in your profession. The 350XWB looks like a fun aircraft to fly and thankyou for giving us an insight into how you operate it. Happy Landings;-))
Adrian D Why make it complicated? Keep it simple is much more safe. The A350 is so intuitive, if you know the smartest sequence of when to do things. 😉
Rasmus Hundevadt what’s so wrong with putting digital inputs rather than mechanical controls? As long as pilots are in control, they are manually piloting the aircraft. Boeing fans are just too ignorant of this detail. Trust me, they’re both safe to fly with. The only thing why airbus is better is that it provides comfort for the pilot.
I’m an ATPL student. I just finished phase one theory. I’d like to leave my thought. First of all thanks for the video, for me it was like I was there with you guys. The most interesting part for me was the FMS set up. I spent a lot of time learning all the little functions and sometimes it’s difficult to remember everything for someone like me who has never flown. But after having seen your video I was so happy because yes.. I know what you guys are doing. And this is great to know for me... 😂 I’m extremely happy and lucky to have the chance to be a pilot in training. I hope to be sitted on the right very soon. Thanks for your video, it gave me even extra motivation.
OperatorJack Thank you. It’s very straightforward and easy when you know in what sequence you should do things. You also need to be flexible, like when waiting for the flightplan do download to the fms. Instead of waiting doing nothing we check the log and the recall/dispatch. That’s clever working! Some small parts are missing, for example how we download the flightplan to the efb, via internet. Then copy paste to the lido for charts and route. I’ll show this in another video. 😉

We are checking each others entries and they are also checked automatically by the plane in some ways. "Xcheck with avionics" after we have entered all the loading data. 🙂

bjorn pilot As in that the A350 has actual long reverse thrust level on the normal thrust levers like in most other planes (i.e. Boeing), whereas other the A320 have the small reverse thrust levers that moves the normal thrust levers into the reverse area behind the idle detent
Hi Bjorn. I would like to ask you about the size of the flight deck. I have flying both the ToLiss A321 and the Flight Factor A359 in X Plane 11 using a VR headset and even though the Flight Factor model probably is grossly inaccurate in a lot of places, I would to know if the flight deck of the A359 really is much larger than the one on the A321.
Usually we fly north of the otganized tracks because we start or end north of mid Europe, in Scandinavia. Occationally when the winds are more favourable more to the south, we follow the tracks.

2:58 now imagine they can't fly the airplane because of _Windows is installing new updates. Please wait_
Or imagine having a bluescreen in midflight
That's best case scenario. Now what if update rollback? Or driver conflict?
There is no ms windows in such great airplanes. Its a special system. But I think Boeing airplanes have it!
The flight systems are not running on Windows, and they have backups for everything.

Just staggering, what a machine! I could watch you guys work for hours.
Boeing should learn from Airbus what is “spacious cabin and cockpit” it really provides comfort 🤣
What happens if they both Fall asleep during an emergency
Mastashake In case they would fall asleep the emergency alerts would definitely wake them
That’s funny, because airbus should really learn how to let the pilots fly the plane
