This video truly does justice to David Tennant's portrayal of the Doctor, the man who carried a now sixty year old burning torch at some of its brightest moments. He truly was born for this role...
I so love that he finally got the family he thought he was going to have with Amy, Rory, and River, but with the Noble clan, he'll get a proper "slow path" life.
David's Doctor deserves this. Out of all the doctors from 2005 I feel like his death was the most tragic, while all the other doctor's had compaions or a companion, David's tenth doctor died alone and was dying slowly due to radiation, not only that but he died ashamed of what he became at the end of his time, so to see David come back as the fourteenth doctor and not only get at least one of his old companion's back but also get the privliage to live with her and her family is so awesome. Another thing is that this vision of the doctor much like the metacrisis gets a break from all the pain, running, and endless push that is the job of being the doctor. While to many the bi regeneration may seem like a cheep cop out or a push to keep character's alive like the moffet era, I feel like the bi regeneration solution solves a lot of things, One: David's doctor doesn't have the stress of being all alone nor does have the fear of being alone while dying, Two: it makes it so that Donna isn't just left alone again much like how she was during her first apperence in season 3 the episode: "Runaway Bride", Three: It wraps up everything for the tenth doctor's era that didn't get resolved, and Four: It was the ending that should have happened had the tenth doctor not leave Rose with metacrisis verison of himself, let Martha & Co go back to Torchwood or UNIT, and if he didn't need to erase all of Donna's memories just to save her mind
I think it's also a ending that the Doctor deserves but without bi generation, would never get. Because Doctor Who is a type of show that never ends and the Doctor can never stop until somebody decides to pull the plug. We are now 60 years into the show's run and there's no sign of stopping anytime soon. So i like the idea of letting the last 60 years Doctor take a rest while the new Doctor takes the reigns. Even if the new Doctor's 'i have everything sorted out' attitude bothers me a little (i just want a little angst because i didn't feel like we got a proper closure for the Doctor. He literally said that they do Rehab in the wrong order and he finished his)
That is true. It also makes his death even sadder considering how Ten explained regeneration as a sense of death to everything he is other then the memories, smarts, a trauma. It just makes you realize if Ten was real and had born instead of being a grown man he would have only been seven years old at the latest by the time he died@@alxzr
@@Legendary3Dgamer well, we have to hope for (well dosed) apperances in the UNIT spin off and be happy for 14th happy closure. And in the meantime I (re)watch everithing he's in and be happy to see him in Good Omens 3 in round about 4 years 🥶
Literally one of the best edits I've seen on him, and just one of the best of this year. The pacing, the matching lyrics, the emotions, everything is there. This is literally BRILLIANT ❤
David Tennant has always been my favourite doctor. He puts so much emotion into his characters that there's been so many times that I've been brought to tears by him. I'm so happy that he returned for 3 episodes and I hope that he does so again in the future! :) But for now, I guess I'll just be rewatching his old episodes xD edit: this edit is so nice and now im gonna so cry
the 14th doctor is still alive in-universe, and there's been rumours of a new doctor who spinoff in the works, which could well be the 14th doctors life with the Nobles, but no confirmation or official news.
Tennant as the Doctor is the kind of fun-loving multilayered adventurer I’ve come to expect from the doctor, and can I just say, this edit encapsulated him perfectly ❤❤❤
The 10th Doctor - " Always take a banana to a party". Crowley in Good Omens - " What are they putting in bananas these days? " Thank you for a great video.
I love this! So beautifully encapsulates David’s Doctor(s)! Brilliant song choice! Love how this tribute has both moments of adventure but also makes time for those somber moments and still within this catchy tune which just elevates the end! A lot of great lyric matches too! And of course we all agree at just how clean of a transition 0:49 is.
This video was amazing! The editing, the transitions, the music, the rhyme, the scenes, the feels, the story- all of it. Every second was perfect. This is probably one of the best fandom music video edits I’ve ever seen, point blank. Just, wow. Seriously, this was brilliant! (Also, people have already mentioned this but that transition at 0:49? Dude!!!!! That was magic! Like professional grade magic! That was so cool, and I am so jealous, lol)
Whaow that was an incredible vid !!!!! You rocked !!!! I absolutly LOVED it, brilliant rythme and really the spirit of Tennant's doctor :) thank you for this !!!
This song is perfect for him!! Thank you so much for making such a masterpiece!! I really love Doctor Who and the 10th and 14th Doctors have a very special place in my heart!! I'm really HAPPY right now, thank you❤❤❤

he truly was
He was ;-;
Sure was!
Love how his first full episode ends with dinner with the Tylers, and his final full episode ends with dinner with the Nobles.
“Time to run again. Love the running, yeah?”
“Love the running!”
…”And off we go. Just like old times.”
❤❤

and I really really loved how Donna did indeed do what she said to him, that maybe she'd be the one saving his life.
YES
round of applause for the transition at 0:49 👏👏👏
That 0:48 edit is gold
Yeup.
Definitely! When I saw that scene I instantly thought of the scene in the next doctor

Plus 10 lived only 5-7 years as opposed to to the other doctors

If only the writing was better…
Russl's writing was good before it forced to fallow what the BBC wants@@tikimillie
Didnt realise he gets slapped that many times but what an iconic beginning
Honestly right with 'here we go again' I knew I had my intro 😂
@@beachedmama a tribute to the late brigadier
Transition at 00:47 is just magnificent
0:16 The Doctor looks like an overly excitable puppy being let loose in his favorite dog park. Born to run, indeed! 😂❤️ Love this tribute!
The cut at 0:49 is one of the greatest thing I have ever seen
wonderful compilation. Made my eyes a little watery with sadness and happiness at the same time 🥲
I feel u bro because apparently David’s not returning to the show after 60th 😢
