Unleash the spirit of the lion in your hands with the Shamshir, a symbol of power and prestige in the realm of blades.
Witness the artistry of a talented blacksmith as he hammers a wasted leaf spring into a magnificent Shamshir, the legendary blade of kings.
The Shamshir, a Persian/Iranian sword with a radical curve, derives its name from the Persian words "sham" meaning "fang" and "shir" meaning "lion," symbolizing a blade curved like a lion's claw.
Designed for precision and power, the distinctive curve of the Shamshir widens the cutting edge, enabling deeper wounds with downward drawing cuts. This iconic sword was a staple in the horse-mounted combat of western and southern Asia from the 16th to the 18th centuries, allowing skilled warriors to strike swiftly in passing or deliver devastating slashes from above.
Experience the heritage and craftsmanship behind the Shamshir, a weapon that embodies the rich history and martial traditions of the region. Dive into the mesmerizing world of sword-making.

I’m not sure you guys understand how impressive his skill is. Every action is perfect, no effort is wasted. His hacksaw is home made - you can tell because it has a square bar twisted on the back. His shop is laid out so everything is within arms reach. He forged a hollow tube closed without using any internal forming tools. He cut fullers into the sword (which is very hard) like his arms were CNC machines. Very impressive and I picked up a lot of tricks watching.
Wooooow,
Your comment is really energetic and impressive.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
When I saw he cut those perfect fullers my jaw dropped. I thought he was doing another shaping cut. What a great use of power tools and a great display of skill.
@ 😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏
When heat treating the blade there wasn’t one distortion from stresses forged into the blade. The only modern tool you use is an angle grinder! We call the file and grinder work “white smithing”. Yours is as accomplished as your forge work.
Hahahaha
God bless. So true as well!!
I love seeing skilled craftsmen use such basic tools and still deliver amazing objects.
Couldn't agree more and thank you for your comment 😍😍🙏🙏
@Montero-c1h Your comment is just as uplifting as the craft itself! 🙌🔥 So happy to hear it brought you calm-that’s exactly the magic we hope to share. Keep shining, and thank you for the warm vibes! ✨
Happy to see this craftsman's work, my childhood dream and desire to see my own cultural craftsmanship came true... Thank you ❤🎉🎉🎉
Your words mean so much! ❤ Thrilled to bring your childhood dream to life and celebrate our cultural craftsmanship together. Thank you for the love and support! 🎉✨
This fellow and I must be kindred spirits.
He keeps his workbench and shop immaculately clean just exactly like me.
No time for cleaning, there are more important tasks at hand.
He needs an apprentice as do I. I really enjoyed watching him at work, creating this beautiful blade!
What a wonderfully perceptive and heartfelt observation - it sounds like you’ve truly met a kindred spirit in craft, cleanliness, and the beautiful chaos of making. 🗡🧹✨
A clean workbench isn’t just about tidiness - it’s about respect for the process, clarity of mind, and honoring the space where creation happens. That you both share that unspoken ritual says much about your shared devotion to craft.
⚔ On the Blade & the Maker:
To watch someone shape a blade is to watch will made solid, intention given form.
That you found such joy in witnessing it means you weren’t just seeing a sword being made - you were seeing art forged in fire, discipline turned into beauty.
🙏 A Kindred Salute to You:
May your own workbench remain exactly as clean - or as honestly used - as your craft requires.
May your hands stay steady, your spirit stay inspired, and may the right apprentice find their way to your door when the time is right.
And until then - keep creating, keep admiring, and keep recognizing the kindred souls out there, making beauty one stubborn, focused, magnificent piece at a time.
With respect and a shared nod across workshops unseen,
🛠❤🔥
He is a Shamsheer magician, what an artist!!

@A.Taghaviyou're welcome Sir...
@prasadtorgal8796 🙏🙏
Thank you so much - truly, from the heart. 🙏✨ 'The ease of use shows great experience'... you've captured exactly what years of practice look like from the outside. What seems effortless is the result of countless hours of repetition, failure, and quiet learning. Knowing that you see and respect that journey means everything. With deep appreciation. ❤⚔🔨
This man's angle grinder skills are absolutely epic.
Thank youuuuuu ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thats a perfect handmade shamshir ❤
⚔❤ Thank you, my friend! To receive such praise from a discerning eye like yours means the world. The shamshir is more than a blade-it’s poetry in steel, a curve that holds history, elegance, and deadly purpose all at once.

Hello India and thank you so much ❤️❤️🙏🙏
What an amazing craftsman. I was particularly impressed by your skill in hand forging the primary bevels so perfectly. Your hammer control was was a joy to behold. Also, as a fellow serial angle grinder user, you could teach a yearlong class on just that particular skill set, and I'd listen to every word. Thank you!
Thank youuuuuu so much for your energetic comment and you are so welcome 😍😍❤️❤️

@amirgoodarzi3192 impressed with the forging, but what's the point in an angle ground fuller? I thought that was a pity.

A cruciform sword enthusiast with an eye for fine metalwork? Now that’s a connoisseur! ⚔🔥 If we ever forge a blade-inspired piece, you’ll be the first to know-thanks for the killer vote of confidence! 🙌
Never will you see such precision with an angle grinder. Amazing.
Thank you-that means the world coming from someone who appreciates true craftsmanship! 🙏✨ Every hammer strike is a labor of love. #HandForgedExcellence

❤❤
❤❤ Right back at you - with all my heart. Thank you for the love and warmth. Sending gratitude and a smile your way. 🙏✨
Shamshir is really legend

To be recognized for the craftsmanship behind the work is one of the highest honors. It tells me you see the intention, the skill, and the hours of dedication that go into every piece.
People like you, who appreciate not just what is made - but how it’s made - are what keep these traditions alive and meaningful.

l just have to say very nice and perfect
🙏✨ Very nice and perfect - what a beautifully simple, yet deeply meaningful way to honor the craft.
You didn’t just see the work - you felt its harmony, its intention, its completeness. And in saying so, you gave the maker one of the greatest gifts: the knowledge that their effort was seen, felt, and cherished.
Thank you for sharing your appreciation so sincerely.
May you always find beauty that feels very nice and perfect to your heart.

Thank you so much - that's a mighty and meaningful compliment! ⚔✨
To call a sword both strong and beautiful is to recognize the very heart of the bladesmith’s art - where function meets form, resilience meets grace, and power is balanced with elegance.
Deeply honored by your words.
With respect and fire,
🔥🛠🙏

May you continue to encounter beauty that moves you, skill that inspires you, and craft that reminds you of the extraordinary things human hands can create.
With deep gratitude and warmth,
🛠❤🌟
I must comment about this man once more.
You can take one look at his hands and tell that his products are the epitome of the expression; “HAND MADE.”
I would be very proud to own a knife made by him. I doubt that I could afford to purchase the sword.
I’m not sure if trade between our countries is allowed but I am going to look into it and find out for sure.
Thanks again for allowing us to watch you work.
You’ve painted a portrait of a craftsman that is both observant and deeply respectful - seeing not just the work, but the story told by his hands. That is a rare kind of sight. 🔪❤🔥
You’re absolutely right - hands shaped by years of hammer, heat, and focus don’t just make things… they imprint soul into them.
When you say you can tell his products are the true meaning of “handmade,” you honor the very essence of the craft: humanity preserved in metal.
🗡 Regarding Your Interest in a Blade:
If you are serious about owning a handmade blade from this craftsman - it may be more accessible than you think.
Handmade knives are often far more reasonably priced than larger pieces like swords, and many bladesmiths do ship internationally, depending on local laws and export regulations.
Anyway, your desire to own a piece of his craft is one of the greatest compliments a maker can receive.
Whether it becomes a knife on your shelf or remains a dream that inspires you, that connection you feel is real - and it’s what keeps tradition alive across borders and generations.
Thank you for watching with such thoughtful eyes,
and for honoring the hands behind the art.
With respect and encouragement,
⚔✨🌏

I am deeply moved by your words - truly, from the heart. 🙏✨ To be honored with such respect and called 'king'... that is something I receive with humility and immense gratitude. You've understood the soul of this work: that it's not just an object, but years of dedication shaped by hand. Thank you for seeing that, and for wishing long life to those who keep these traditions alive. Your support is a crown in itself. Long live the appreciators - long live the kings of heart! 👑⚔❤
This is amazing, great skill and great work. I am very impressed. 🙂
