    I agree that everyone, all humanity, should believe in Christ, but no belief is to be imposed, Jesus didn't go around forcing everyone to believe in God, He preached the Word in peace, not fighting, love your enemies remember?? We are to testify about God and the greatest Commandment is love remember." I disagree totally with the fact that the US is THE chosen country by God and I've heard that from Christian US politicians. I am from Mexico, I love the US, I went to College there and that's where God decided to begin my path to Him, but there are "chosen" people all over the world. Being a Christian country doesn't make the US the best country that should dominate the world, doesn't make only US Christians the best race.

      I "high 5" your sound post. We are called to submit to all governments as to Christ, to witness about Christ to all, not force them, that isn't a conversion. It's about making followers/disciples for Jesus, not taking over nations. Our eyes are to be on the cross, not any nation's flag.

      Gotta be a little involved in politics. I too thought we shouldn’t.. but knowing the world from a biblical perspective. We should try to stop evil whenever we can.

      @@austinrothjr Nero was the emperor of Rome when Paul wrote Romans. God clearly legitimizes Pagan rule, assuming we agree that Romans 13 is inspired.

    It is hard to follow other conversations on what christian nationalism is and whether it could be a problem. This vid seemed better. The most interesting point was about the survey -- which mostly had questions whether it was good to have godly influence in laws? If there are too many church groups that are just politically motivated or focused on patriotism, that would be an aberration from the right worship. I cannot imagine that such political orientation is predominant though

      Psalm 33:12: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
      Any at the end of Revelation the nations enter into the new Kingdom of heaven and earth and receive their healing. That is to say, the nations are resurrected.

    Like I said in other comments, eschatology matters, this idea streams from Post and/or A mil folks. To fulfill their own eschatology they must change how the government is to run.

    The use of the term Christian Nationalism as a slander towards Evangelicals and Catholics seems odd when you consider the political activism you find in Progressive Churches. The imposed meaning for Christian Nationalism which has become so prevalent is rarely challenged, but before surrendering language to those using it for the purpose of character assassinate, a reassessment is in order.
    Thomas Jefferson was not merely a deist, he attended weekly services, and devoted years of his life compiling the moral teachings of Christ in a chronological volume. This speaks immensely as to the influence the Christian faith had even among the Deists. In the Declaration of Independence Jefferson wrote:
    “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”.
    Jefferson, the “wall of separation” president, claimed that our rights come from God, and that governments are Instituted, not to grant rights, rather to secure those rights which come from the Creator. Not only do governments lack the authority to grant rights, but their power is limited by those whose rights they secure!
    Under communism rights come from the state, and any moral authority which challenges the will of the State must be reined in. This can be done by framing its doctrines as hate, banning religious materials, or through regulation. The true Christian Nationalist is likened to China’s three-self patriotic movement. While terms like Sinicization of Christianity are not used in the west, it does not mean attempts aren’t being made to Nationalize Christianity.
    The 2024 revision of the United Methodist Church’s Social Principles no longer focuses on the core tenants of the faith, instead they now mirror the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The doctrines that define the faith have been replaced with climate change, environmental racism, food justice, colonialism, euthanasia, reproductive health, restorative justice, migration, and gender identity. In December 2023 the Chinese Communist Party released their new five year plan for the Sinicization of Christianity. The following is a translated statement from that document:
    “19. Reinterpret the concept of social services from the perspective of the Sinicization of Christianity, and actively participate in social service work in the fields of medical and health care, helping the disabled and the poor, post-disaster relief, epidemic prevention and control, and environmental protection in accordance with the law, and establish a good image.”
    Like in the People’s Republic of China we are seeing the development of two radically different Churches in America. A Church which mirrors the goals of the State, and a Church committed to the long standing doctrines of the faith. The later is under siege in both countries! The former is where you will find the Christian Nationalist. The end goal of the Christian Nationalist is to remake Christianity in the image of the State, to nationalize it. Thus any higher authority which challenges the States end goals must be controlled or eliminated.

    I'm an Agnostic Atheist, I don't want my life dictated by religion, God, or anything else. I've tried to emmigrate from the US because I am afraid of people like the. That's proven harder to do then I thought it would be. I've applied for Immigration a few places, been rejected for work permits as a University educated knowledge worker. I want to live in a secular government with Freedom from religion's imposition on my life.

    Great video. I watched another video that defined Christian Nationalism as being focus on wanting God's blessing on this nation more than God himself. Whatever you call that, it is definitely idolatry, and it could also be called the Patriotic Prosperity Gospel.

    To anyone reading the comments. Christian Nationalism IS the book "To My Legionaries" by Corneliu Codreanu. Read it! It is not the Westminster Confession of Faith. It's a simple as that.

    The definition you give for nationalism right here 2:00 is just called being patriotic. Anytime you add ism to the end of a word you’re kind of making it your ultimate worldview. I don’t think you can have a nationalistic worldview that is compatible with a healthy Christian faith and I don’t really care which nation we are talking about. But maybe you will go on to clarify what you mean, I didn’t even want to use the term patriotism because that tends to also elevate patriotic feelings to some kind of ultimate.
    I agree with Kevin Stone that when you try to say that you can’t be a good American unless you’re Christian that is going way too far. That is definitely Christian nationalism.

    Christian Nationalism is really supporting Christ's nation when He sets up His kingdom on earth. Sadly I doubt many people are talking about this when they say Christian Nationalism.

      It's really not. Jesus said that His kingdom is not of this world. There is no Christ's nation, there's only the Church.

      @@midimusicforever Christ’s kingdom is not of this earth at the moment, but it will be when the New Jerusalem will come down from heaven with the coming of the new heaven and the new earth. (Rev. 3:12; 21:1-2). This is the only nation that Christians should be in support of if any believers are to refer to themselves as “Christian Nationalists”.
      I’m not sure about any Scripture that backs up the Church as being a nation. However, Scripture does refer to the Church as being a brotherhood which we’re command to love as believers. (1 Peter 2:17)

    How far we have fallen. What does anyone think will happen when Christ returns? That people will still be able to worship how they please? That people will still be able to do whatever they want, whenever they want? Etc. Even other faiths believe that their "god" will conquer the world and make others bow before them but yet, we, as Christians like to cower behind what our Bible even says. If you are a Christian, or rather a Follower of Christ, than you cant pick and choose what word of God you want to believe. If you are a Follower of Christ, than you know what the Book of Revelation states...that Christ will return at some point and will RULE over all nations, tongues, and FAITHS. I.E. what Christ says goes...period. Any Follower of Christ that wants to cower behind political correctness, opinions/feelings, etc will be kicked out of the church, as Christ said those who are lukewarm will be spit from his mouth.
    Just my bag of change.

      Actually, it was in the medieval times that we had fallen far. Jesus didn't call us to seek dominion, and the early Church suffered martyrdom after martyrdom.

    Definitions (through the first 9 min) are too vague and the clarity is lacking. While "Christian" nationalism should be regarded as an adjective modifying the noun "nationalism," meaning the Nation of the USA was and if again would be grounded in biblical (God's holy law) morality, then we are loving our neighbors because that nation would be blessed. The insanity, demonic in source, of our current holders of power in media communication and political leftist voices have put us on the path of God's wrath - Him giving us over to our sin and its consequences in society. Laws will align with either those who hate authority (God is the authority) or love the blessing of peace in a social construct that acknowledges God's moral standard. This is not about people being actually believers in Christ (for real or not); to do so would be a false premise that leads the 'not real' ones to think that they are Christians because of birth in America and remove the basis for proclaiming the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone. This is about culture guided by moral authority that is above and beyond them, that of the Creator for their one real safety and peace. As an aside (or an example of what the left will use to color the conversation), "White" Christian Nationalism is not Christian for 'white' does not modify "Christian."

      Isn't Christian Nationalism (whether 'white' or not) referring to man-centered, man made theocracy? If the USA adopts Christian Nationalism, then is it not similar to Iran (and many other Muslim countries) which are theocracies? Christian Nationalism by man, will not stand, not because it is a 'bad thing', but that with our sinful natures, mankind will corrupt it - When our Lord Jesus Christ returns and establishes His kingdom on earth and over all the nations, then and not till then, can we consider and adopt His theocracy as pure and biblical - so far, as a non-american who is striving to abide in God, I view with horror that the far right and extremist groups and other oppotunists, who are far from being Christ-like are plugging for Christian Nationalism - even the Evangelicals start to sound like the Pharisees spouting religiousity, empty worship and ceremony, and putting a heavy burden with their laws and traditions onto others. Brother, we await the return of Christ (whether this happens in our lifetimes or not) and we should remain watchful and strive to follow Christ, place God First in our lives (and that is already very difficult as we 'live in Babylon as exiles'), worshipping God whole heartedly with all our soul, our mind, our bodies and our strength, and lastly to also love one another. No Christian Nationalism for me!

      Just that, that's not what Jesus called us to do. When Paul wrote his letter to the Romans, Nero was emperor. A wicked pagan who murdered Christians. Have that in mind when you read Romans 13.

    This Country was founded on Judeo\Christian Values, from our Declaration of Independence, talking about our inalienable rights, given by God, and the fact that 2 Pastors wrote the first 2 Amendments to the Constitution, that DOESN'T say the Church needs to stay out of National business, but opposite.. the Federal Government is to stay out of Church Business. NEVER have our Pastor's closed Churches during a Pandemic... Prior to the SCOTUS ruling of Constitutional Abortion, and Removal of Prayer in school, etc. we were a Judeo Christian Country. Due to many wishy washy Church's allowing God to be kicked to the curb, NOT standing on Biblical Principles, allowed SATAN to move in. Who does Satan go after? Our Children. Young people. Jesus said it's better to have a millstone tied around your neck and be dropped into deepest sea, than cause my little ones to stumble or be injured. I'm in complete disagreement with you on most of this, because I see too many "Men of God" so wishy-washy and our Country fail because of it. There is NOTHING wrong with being a Patriotic Christian, or a Christian Nationalist. We love the God of Creation, and the Country HE gave us... If we can keep it. Personally, I'd like to see the Black Robe Regiment come back. Strong Christian Men, sticking to Biblical Principles.

      Yes there is. Christianity was birthed from Judaism of which Christ was an ardent practitioner of(He was a Rabbi). Judeo-Christian simply stems from the basic foundational principles He laid out.

      I don't care about the Constitution anymore. Freedom of Religion was the biggest mistake in HISTORY. if our FOUNDERS saw what America has turned into. They would NOT allowed the Freedom of Religion. Remember, most of them were Christians. Also, the Freedom of Religion was for the Christians denominations. The Founders didn't support LGBT rights too.
      I used to be your typical Republic supporter, until I realize that it was a mistake.. Read Exodus 20:5. Our God is a jealous God. Read the Book Of Judges too.. Look what happened to Israel when they went away from God. Monarchy is the only way. MAKE JESUS AS KING.

      God's People are the Jews. What they called themselves back during the time of Abraham, before the written Hebrew, {Paleo Hebrew exists, and shows they called themselves what would translate into people of Judea or Hebrews} however, for these purposes we use the term 'the Jewish people'... These first 5 books of our Bible are their Talmud. They also of course have other old testament books, especially the Prophets. However, in Israel today, many are falling for a fake Messiah, and throughout their history, they have disobeyed God. They have been punished for that, and we see in the eschatology, they will be again.
