FIX UPDATE ON PS5 1. Go to game base on ps5 2. Start a new "closed party" while mw3 is open. 3. Go to ur new party and click square button for the drop down. 4. Click on MW3 5. Click on Open Voice Chat settings 6. My "mute voice chat" was turned on. I disabled it and it's working now.
If you guys are on mw3 and can hear your chat outside the lobbies but not during game then click pause, go to notifications and check to see if you have any penalties… I was trying to figure out why game chat specifically wasn’t working and I found out why

I mean I have tried absolutely everything. Even bought a new headset with a USB port and still nothing. I'm getting furious trying to figure out why I can hear everyone, but no one can hear me. I go to test mic in the COD audio settings and I can hear myself, yet I join in a game and no one can hear me ever.

just to add if any one still having problems found the solution tonight , if you press the PS button goto sound then scroll down to " mute game voice chat " and turn it OFF , even says when you highlight it " if you turn this on your voice won't be heard and you won't hear the voice of there players . This setting isn't applied to parties "
My son plays Xbox, I play PC. Every other game he can't hear me but he can hear the game. The rest of our team can hear me fine but he can't hear anyone.
The entire lobby starts off muted for me, pressing the "All lobby: Muted" button does nothing, unmuting specific players results in "can't toggle mute" error, I play on PC.

MW3 appearing on my main monitor alone causes my voice audio to cut out on Discord , Xbox Game Bar for Pc, or even in game party chat. And if I minimize the game it fixes my audio issues (the game is still running in the background btw) so i have a really bizarre issue. Does anyone experience this on PC????

Bruhh…. make sure to go under master volume in the setting and click show more and make sure voice chat volume is not at 0. Struggled for 2 hours and tried everything possible. It was just that the volume was turned down
It’s a bug in Warzone this isn’t going to fix the one where you have your mic and it’s on but you see ppl talking , it’s a bug I been dealing with forever since season 3..

Is there a fix for mics that are muted but won't allow you to mute them or send a friend request or anything. I'll get into a lobby and I can hear a few people, but the ones I cannot hear are the ones with the muted mics that won't allow me to unmute them. I heard it's a bug in the game right now. This isn’t helpful at all. My account is basically acting like it’s banned. Chat Disabled pops up on my screen every time I load into a match and I can hear everyone, but they can’t hear me. Everything is enabled and as it should be meaning I haven’t turned any of the setting’s off and it’s 100% not a ban as I’ve checked more then once now on Activision’s webpage and every time it days there’s no ban detected. Some please explain to me what’s going on. None of this is making any sense to me and it’s annoying as because what is even the point in playing if I can’t even talk to my friends. This all started happening after an update too so I’m guessing it’s some dumb bug in the game like the 1000’s of bugs they already have they just had to give me another one🤦🏽♂️

Thank you so much after a week of trying to fix my issue, I came across your video and now my mic works again.
If peoples mic icons pop up like they are talking but you can't hear them try unplugging your console and plugging it back in it worked for me
If anyone has not tried resetting the audio set and is still having this issue then do that because it surprisingly worked for me.

Guys there’s an option in sound settings for the ps5 called mute game voice chat you must turn it off so you can hear and talk in the game 😊

Bro I fixed mine by resting my MAC address on your console setting. Clear the MAC address and you should be good, it’ll restart you console.
