The #DallasCowboys have added defensive tackle Phil Hoskins and cornerback Amani Oruwariye to their practice squad. Oruwariye, a fifth-round pick by the Detroit Lions in 2019, recorded six interceptions in 2021 and offers a solid frame at 6’2” and 200 pounds. Hoskins, drafted in the seventh round by the Carolina Panthers in 2021, brings additional depth to the interior defensive line at 6’5” and 315 pounds. Per a source, the Cowboys are signing Oruwariye to the practice squad. He has started 36 games in his career and has accumulated nine interceptions.
As you say "Leave no stone unturned." So bringing in these guys to the practice squad and seeing if they can help with depth at some point is not a bad thing. And it's really never a bad idea to check out a 6'5", 319lbs fatguy at DT, or the 6'2", 200lbs cb both of whom are still very young and have plenty of opportunity to restart their careers. GO COWBOYS 🤠!!!!!
I love what the cowboys are doing defensively I worry about the offense alonge side CD and running back but we will see September 8th im a cowboy fan from Philly so I hear it all day at work
Looking at Amani Oruwariye highlights, this dude has great instincts & smart iq at setting up to get ints & man to man. I think it's a good pickup to add depth til bland returns
@211reid worddd haha that's funny, yea I like him & carsons kinda helping each other out as the 2nd outside corner. No need to panic & go get the best there is when Bland returns around week 5
His only good highlights were from 2021 when he had 6ints, but for some reason he fell off a cliff the last 2 seasons, or i would've been happy to get him.
Should have brought back Gilmore. Especially since it's going to take Diggs 6 to 8 games to return to form like it did J Lew last season. Jerry maybe be good with marketing but he is terrible at Personnel decisions.
@@poppygrider8389 I know that he had surgery. It takes time to fully recover. There is no guarantee that he will return to the Diggs before the injury. Example Michael Gallup. However the main point is that Gilmore should have been brought back for insurance.
This front office is so dimwitted that they could have placed 2 guys no one would bother to pickup Waletzko and Goodwin on the practice squad and signed Wood and Rogers to the 53. Instead they lost both rookies
Thx 💣 Law ⚖ Nation 💥 My biggest concern is coaches without a contract after this season... With QB1 being in his final yr as well... Well, this can be a detriment as far as a 1 beat 1 sound type team chemistry 🤔
Zimmer is known as the Shanahan stopper. That's a difficult offense to stop to. Not overhyping him because my outlook for this year is grim. I'm just trying to train my heart & brain to expect the worst & hope for best.
