I just did a t-shirt for a friend's birthday...he is going to love it!! No, there is nothing you need to do as far as reversing or inverting. Print, trim, peel off back, place face up on material, cover with tissue paper that came with Avery iron transfers, Iron, peel off tissue, let cool. Love these Avery 3279's!!

Is it necessary to pre-wash new garment before iron on?

The paper that came with product has not peeled off (after ironing on label and allowing to cool), can I sponge it off 24hrs later? @Avery Products

Does this paper work on dollar store Christmas stockings?

So, I had some 3279 sheets "Dark T-Shirt Transfers" from about 10 years ago. Printed fine, BUT I could not get backing to peel off. The back was not scored as shown in the current video. Was the basic product changed in the interim? I'm guessing this stuff was meant to be reverse image printed, face down??? If so, should they not have changed the product number? The back of the envelope reads, in part, "© 2005 Avery Dennison Corporation." for reference. Of course, the live support chat was closed for the week end, so no help there.

If you would have just actually watched the video you wouldn’t have had to even bother commenting because all the answers are right there for you. It’s barely 3 min long.. just watch it again.
Or because you prob won’t here I’ll help.. NO it isn’t designed to be printed mirrored and then flipped upside down when ironing. I suppose unless you have some wildly different model # but just as you mentioned if it were changed the template # should have too I’d assume anyhow

No… only ink jet printers can be used for this process.

Please what cover sheet should I use? I don't have silicon or partchment paper, can I use a regular A4 sheet?

The package comes with iron on sheets for the transfer designs. However A4 sheets can damage the design are poor heat transfer.

You should have had a sheet included with the transfers. Otherwise (& realize you probably solved by now) parchment or baking paper>
