They never renewed with DSP. There were stories that not all 5 members were going to be retained by the agency so they all decided not to re-sign. Also, the legend about the Love Ya MV is that you can see Kim Hyun Joong's bandages underneath his sheer shirt. He shot the MV and promoted Love Ya performing the dance, while being injured from a motorcycle accident because they couldn't delay the release because their contract was expiring.
Most TripleS are after 2010 so yeah, it's sad. Bit we have great memories to look back on, and we can hope that they WILL release a comeback song one day!

I am still listening with pleasure to this song in June 2021. 🦋 SS501 was a legendary unique group and they stIcked together through difficult times, when Young Saeng had vocal cords operation, they waited for him to recover, when their Agency in 2010 wanted to renew only three contracts of the five, they decided to leave as a group, the same as Got7 did later. I still admire them for their courage, and compassion for each other. I also really like the development of Kim Hyun Joong as an individual singer, love his new songs, and follow his channel, but l wished that more viewers/fans of KHJ would be more fair to SS501 singer Young Saeng, as at that time his voice, and vocal rage was the most distinct, and developed as a singer from all of them arguably. Till today l admire them for not putting their egos first, fighting openly, or secretly for individual attention through faked “love”, and l like you better relationships within the group, and seeking, who is the better singer of them, or posing for individual attention by any means. They enjoyed their togetherness on stage, and this was part of their attractiveness, and uniqueness. Like many others, l would like all five of them to come back for at least one new song.
