Instead of grab try dtilt when you drag down from the platform. Then you can either fair or react. Dtilt is also more consistent since fast fallers won't get grabbed. It also may steal the jump
What I also like to do when the opponent misses a tech on a platform is: - gun jab lock>gun wave dash>drag down up air>up air(last up air only true at mid/high percent) -gun jab lock>gun wave dash on plat>up tilt>drag down up air>throw combo (lower percent) -gun jab lock>gun wave dash on plat>up tilt>up air (mid percent)
I’m having trouble landing up throw to up air to land on platform. I can hit it easily with short hop uair but I can’t do a full hop uair and get it to connect consistently. Is there a trick to this? It is full hop uair and not double jump uair correct?
There is no need to DJ. Buffer a full hop out of up throw and slightly delay your up air. Also remember to take DI into account. Takes a bit of practice to perfect
Which combo in particular? I’m 97% sure I had stale moves turned on in the making of this video, but there’s always the chance that I didn’t, so that could be it.Also, are you getting all of the hits?
