Of the "new" pedals, l liked the CP-70 Dual Overdrive best. I think genre-specific Affordaboards is a great idea. And then you can have one non-specific most versatile Affordaboard to rule them all.

You’ve found affordable pedals’ secret (for some reason) stash! I love Caline pedals, and glad to see them getting some love (just hope prices don’t go up now!). I’ve got the Snake Bite, the Big Orange, the Americana, Captain Silver (or Silver Captain), High Chief (the orange one in this video), and Pure Sky. Still learning the last 2 as they are recent purchases, but I’m really impressed by them all. The SB is what got me interested and has obviously been covered, and I learned about the BO from the JHS show. I believe it’s a Xotic BB Preamp style. The Americana is the same as the Joyo American Sound. SC is a Tube Screamer with 808 or TS9 switch. The HC has obviously been covered. And the PS I believe is a Timmy style. Like I said, still learning the HC and PS. And I’m definitely looking at some more!
I forgot I also have a power supply from them! Works fine I guess, but probably the least impressive. I’ve heard a lot of complaints that they are not truly isolated and introduce noise, but I haven’t noticed any problems, so if you just runs drives off of it you should be okay.
Jeff Muir I speak from what I’ve seen, not from experience, but the Americana should be the same as the Joyo American. The pure sky is totally different from the high Chief. They are all great pedals though
The original High Chief had a "Clear" knob, the new one has 2 "Drive" knobs. My guess is the Clear is the BB-2 "Boost" (diode stage bypassed), Drive is the BB-2 "Blues".
Just bought one the other day! I like it. I don’t think it is an exact KOT clone, but their take on it. Don’t have a KOT to compare it too though. Also it’s called the High Chief, it’s just not in the pedal.
I just bought a Blue Ocean delay because... well, because I wanted to😂. It is QUITE nice! The quality of build and effect were surprising. I really wish that Caline pedals had battery doors, but it is not a deal breaker.
I got the Wolfpack exactly because of TS+Boost combination. I use it with a Fuzz after and makes a great combination for that extra power necessary. What I wasn't expecting is the softness of the OD...

I am very happy with my Caline Pure Sky overdrive pedal. It was less than 30€ if I remember correctly. It stacks well with a lot of other pedals like Klonish stuff or things like my Joyo Taichi.
The CP98 Medusa is their newest Klon style pedal, which is my favorite Klon pedal, and has a bit more gain and compression than their Pegasus, which is also a Klone. It's $40 from Ebay sellers in the US and Canada.

Try the biyang babyboom series.. Cheap like $30 or so a pedal and i swear their green mad driver od pedal sounds as good as my maxon ts808 pedal but with a little more gain on the od... Their phasor, compressor and delay pedals sound good too..
Multiple affordaboards is an awesome idea! Could you make a Hendrix affordaboard? I reccomend the Jimi Nova effect. Have one and love it. They say that a JTM preamp + fuzz face make a good addition

Orange double =big chief = KoT klone. Blue double is Wolfpack tubescreamer plus boost, green is midlander tubescreamer, gold one is Medusa a klon klone, reverb not sure what it’s based on but it’s ok. I have one.
I have a crazy cacti, and it is great! It’s a double pedal, but is basically a fulltone full drive 2 with mosfet boost. The only thing I don’t like about it is the boost isn’t independent. But it’s a great pedal! And I got it on Amazon for 35, free shipping. It’s worth looking at for the cheaper version shootout!

Value and not bad for the tones. I think i was paid to take a Caline Crazy Cacti OD/Boost? Not really ... but it was about $20, as it was with 2 other pedals for sale on the eBay. It's nice, but long off my board as one would expect.
Try out the Mooer phase pedals. I've got the Liquid phase on my board and still haven't found all the sounds. Got my used for $47. But new it's in the $ 60-70 range.

You need joyo pedals they are the original amazing value pedals. They've gone up in price because people know how good they are but they're still a good value.
Love the affordaboard videos. I’m struggling with amps. We are new players, all 4 of us. Currently have a fender frontman 25r and a Marshall mg30. Is seems they need to be pretty loud to sound right. What are some affordable amps that would sound great in the house? Could you do some affordable amp shootouts? $250 or less?

Great mod on the Tele; 3 HB's is one I never really considered.Think it cries out for a Bigsby, now; give it a little more "slinkyness". They've got the visual part down, which is no small hurdle; really think EHX would sell TWICE as many pedals if they updated the graphics.Not saying it SHOULD be a big deal, but it is. They sound pretty tight, but I have to wonder,- at a $50 price point,- there's a ton of competition, especially used.Everybody's has to do the Klon and the TS, right?It's unwritten law. Many good, inexpensive drives out there; recently "re experienced" the EHX Hot Tubes and GeOD,- forgotten, unique, and simple. Keep up the keeping up.

I might sound lame for saying this, but some of the klon centaur copies are extremely dang near close to the real thing. I’d recommend the NuX HorseMan! if you’re willing to pay boutique prices, the Wampler Tumnus is as close as you can get

The Caline CP-79 Wolf pack is clone of the Fulltone Full Drive Mosfet 2. It is a dead accurate clone ...In a blindfold test you can not here any difference . in fact zero difference!

Interesting that these pedals are a little more pricey in the US. In the UK they are all under thirty quid. I got the Caline Big Orange for £20. They definitely fall in to the 'affordable' category.
Nutter Astro Captain. He used it recently on the Valco Blood Fuzz video. You should check that video out cause that's a hell of a pedal. Also, check out the video RJ Ronquillo did on it for Eastwood. So good.

Yes it may be petty but it's my prerogative as a viewer. Ill take Ryan's phone 7/365 over one instance of a clown with the headstock tuner for a 6 minute video in which he doesn't change keys. It's just a deal breaker from the jump.

I was expecting that you would have done the CP-76 as well. It's two pedals in one and is cheap AF. I'm waiting for mine to arrive.

I like the clip on Boss TU01. It's a clip on. Cost about $18.00 and works on bass, guitar, and chromatic.
@@darrellm3410 and seeing you playing on a video with it clipped to your headstock would immediately cause me to leave your channel and never consciously return. Yes it may be petty but it's my prerogative as a viewer. Ill take Ryan's phone 7/365 over one instance of a clown with the headstock tuner for a 6 minute video in which he doesn't change keys. It's just a deal breaker from the jump.
