Law for Control of Narcotic Substances with Barrister Salman Safdar I Episode 03 Criminal Law Series
In this all-encompassing talk, Barrister Salman Safdar explains the Law for Control of Narcotics Substances in the light of the act of 1997, the rules of 2001 and the principles settled by the Superior Judiciary through various Landmark Judgements.
He also provides guidance regarding working of Anti-Narcotics Force and Prosecutors. The talk also includes discussion around the focus of the Anti-Narcotic Force on Peddlers, their failure to curb the Production/ Manufacturing of Narcotic Substances and Over-emphasis by Courts on the quantity of seized contraband while adjudicating the cases.
Towards the end of the talk, Barrister Salman also provides guidance & tips to the young and emerging lawyers to conduct narcotic cases more effectively.
