I've been waiting to upload this one for a while. Finn Balor reinvented himself and seemed to be on the run of his career, it's looked back at fondly for good reason. What did you think of the Prince?
I think Finn Balor Is Great he's best in the ring and I can appreciate what he's doing right now with The Judgement Day!!!😎
I loved the character. And his In ring ability improved overnight he was allowed to have freedom to be himself and it worked the crowd just couldn't hate him as a badness Heel so he became more of a tweener. I personally feel that's how he should be booked on the Main Roster after Judgement Day splits.
ive been saying this for the past 3 years 2019-2021 NXT PRXNCE BALOR WAS THE BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD. And this coming from a heavy AJ Styles & Seth Rollins fan.

Finn is currently finding out how to adapt his Judgment Day character. He has the trolling of the OG Prince devitt when he was a heel in NJPW.
I saw this one video of Finn wearing boxing gloves before a match starts at NJPW, just to troll his opponent😂😂then the red took off his gloves.
He's in his humorous heel era, which I don't mind. He can be a serious heel or tough guy as shown in NXT 2019.
That version of The Prince is probably hidden unless a storyline gets serious.
Finn Balor in NXT from 2019-2021 was an absolute fun time. He had so many classics and even had an awesome reign as NXT Champion. Truly a nostalgic time.😁

It happened at the perfect time and re-established him as a top tier performer who can carry a brand single handedly if given a chance.

I thought I'd had to wait for someone like Superkick Studios to make a video like this covering Finn, love the work here. Now that HHH is in charge and Judgment Day runs it's course I look forward to seeing what kind of run he puts together for Finn similar to NXT. He deserves to win a World Championship and show that when given the ball, he can run.

Finn Balor as the Prince in NXT from 2019-2021 had an incredible run. His feud with Gargano, that banger match at Super Tuesday, his series of matches with Kyle O'Reilly over the NXT Championship, and his match with Karrion Kross were all amazing and were some of the last great runs in Black and Gold NXT. He was just operating on a whole different level.

Finn Balor's run in NXT from 2019-2021 is why NXT should be an official third brand so more superstars on Raw & SmackDown who aren't being used properly can go back to Florida and have fresher feuds, storylines, and matches.
Yep, as do I. It’s one of the few things I liked about early WWECW, and NXT when it first got on live tv. It worked towards making new stars, but also made it a viable third brand for veterans with it’s top titles being respected as world championships (Edge teasing to go for Finn’s title, and Charlotte using her Rumble win to win it at Mania). But WWE seems very inconsistent about it. They say they want NXT to be a full developmental brand, yet still have “main roster” stars winning their titles, and have it on NATIONAL TELEVISION to be put under the same scrutiny as Raw and SD. Let’s not forget when they teased Austin Theory cashing in on Bron Breakker lol.
It seems like whenever the company wants NXT to commit to one concept (third brand or developmental brand), they do things to contradict that vision. B&G tried to be a third brand with having them in Survivor Series and fully making the NXT title a world championship, but still had “call-ups” without being able to trade their stars for someone from the other brands. Now NXT wants to be developmental again, but still have main roster stars winning their belts, Solo going as far as to bring the NA championship to SD and defending it their for a bit, or as we saw just from this week A FORMER WWE CHAMPION challenging for the NXT title 💀.

To this day Finn is still one of my absolute favorite wrestlers in the world, and I have hope that he’ll win the WWE championship at least once in his career 😭
Also this is a great video, his NJPW run was dope, his WWE run up until Summer Slam 2016 (barring TLC against AJ and WM 35) but his NXT run was special and rejuvenated him for what we have now…even though Vince almost ruined it with how he lost to Roman but everything since he returned to SD has been great besides that

This is the Finn I wanna see on the main roster. When he was the Prince it's like his passion came back again. He was out here having banger matches with Gargano,Thatcher,Dunne,Cole hell he got a pretty good match out of Kross. The character work was fantastic felt so much like Prince Devitt in his NJPW days. Just sad Vince lowered him back to that smiling generic babyface after that dumb finish in his match with Roman. His second run was arguably better than first

The NXT Roster was stacked in the Wednesday Night Wars against AEW. Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, Timothy Thatcher, Pete Dunne, Kushida, WALTER, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Jordan Devlin, Santos Escobar, Ilja Dragunov, Dominik Dijakovic, Cameron Grimes, Dexter Lumis, etc.
I'd love to see a match between Judgement Day and Imperium.

He is definitely better when he is an egoistic confident prideful tweener, his mic work, character work, personality peaked during his second run.
Heel Finn Balor in Judgement Day has personality of cabbage and no charisma, is very cheesy. WWE have one opportunity that is Clash of Castles after Damien Priest losses the title they can make Balor turn heel on Damein Priest.

They were lucky to see that lil bit of NJPW in him.
He was what made NXT feel like the third brand it was clearly trying to be at the time, and the NXT championship feel like a viable world title.
I still remember when they teased Edge going after it. Yeah we knew it wasn’t going to happen, but it felt believable with Finn being the champion at the time, and his title defenses against guys like Dunn, O’Reilly, and Kross were hard hitting classics.
I like what they are doing with Balor right now with The Judgement Day. He does much better as a heal. I just don't understand why they aren't booked just a bit stronger than they should be. I understand that Dominic is basically just breaking in for the most part, and he's now getting a little better with the promos and his character. But, Balor one of the best wrestlers on the planet, with the only exception being his height, and Priest who is the full package, he can promo, he's a pretty big guy, then they have quite possibly the best female wrestler in the business as well. They should be booked stronger.

Finn Balor's second NXT run from 2019-2021 was absolutely amazing i just loved how he reinvented himself
bringing back "the prince" gimmick revitalized him, i enjoyed the intensity in his matches, the more serious
and darker tone shift as well as his ruthlessness suited him perfectly, what i like the most about his character
was the menacing promos he would make in that dark room and the overall vibe and aura around them.
However following NXT takeover Portland when he fought Johnny Gargano, he was supposed to fight Walter
and that left me a bit confused was Finn still supposed to be a full on heel ? or was he becoming an anti-hero ?
because for the rest of his 2nd run throughout 2020 to 2021 he fought against both heels and faces alike
so what would you say ? was Finn Balor still a full on heel ? a cool heel maybe ? or a tweener ?

I didn't even watch NXT but from what I see, this is what Kross should be booked like. A boogeyman haunting whoever is unlucky enough to meet him. Not some tik tock enthusiast who needs interference to win.

Nxt was not hurting for talent at this time a lot of guys were carrying that brand. I go back and watch them matches alot. Finn just added a different aura to the show

I never really saw what was so special with Finn Bálor, his matches have always felt the same to me for some reason, Adam Cole was a million times better of an NXT Champion IMO. I did enjoy Finn’s second NXT title reign more than the first though. I liked his matches with Kyle O’Reilly, I was disappointed Kyle didn’t beat him for the title, instead we got that boring ass match with Karrion Kross at TakeOver Stand and Deliver.
