Gn's 1k definitely counts, the amount of raw skill required just to 1) memorize 2) finger control at the level he did 3) read the map itself AND get a run of the level of consistency he pulled off? In my heart this is a very well deserved 1k and looking past that, one of the most impressive plays I've ever seen across all osu history.
could you imagine how the leaderboards would look if all maps were ranked? it would be interesting to see how top players would try and maintain there top spots

qualified plays still gave pp for about 7 months after indexs 600 (it was neros fc on highscore that triggered the change) and the spinner bug was discovered way before the stack bug

Pp exploit maps are crazy lmao, i got a 20kpp play on an extremely easy unranked taiko map, it was 20+*, 2 minutes long and the only reason it gave pp was some slider spams which you dont even have to hit and a bunch of double note hits
