Hi. I bought my yahama fascino 2 years back with one puncture. And it's been 2 times that my scooty slipped on a plane road. Does it mean I need to change the Tyre?
Bhai I purchased apache 200 4v race edition on 15th August 2018 and I have done 20 K KMs. Due to several punctures in rear tyre It can't hold air and I have to refill air every 4-5 days, there're always some minor punctures. I think this is right time I need to change the tyre but holding on this lockdown.

Nice info. Can you suggest best tyre for fzsfi(rear).The stock one is med revz Y(140-60-17). It will be better if you suggest tyre that is not toosoft like stock ones prone to puncture
Actually it's not recommended to change the size of the tyre as it can severe damage to the engine especially clutch plates. I would highly recommend to stick to the tyres recommended in the owner's manual or stock tyres. If you still go ahead with broader and heavier tyres, note that it would need change in the gearing ratio as well. Ride safe

If you meant, kitne puncture hone pe tyre change karna chahiye... Main 3-4 puncture se upar ho gaye to change karna suggest karunga. However agar aapka riding city me hi limited hai to aap usse zyada puncture ho to bhi chala sakte hai assuming aapk typically low speeds pe hi chalenge. Ride safe
Very informative and interesting way of presenting it. I need ur suggestion as my bike tyre is new and runs only 10,000 km, the issue is that front tyre is in cupping shape and right side is sloppy.
You didn't mention the make of the tyre. If they're more towards motorcycle tyres then it should be fine for at least 15,000 kms and if it's purely performance oriented tyres then it lasts max for 8-10,000 kms. So it totally depends on tyre make and type. However if the shape is too distorted in comparison to it's original, you should replace it. Hope this helps. Ride Safe

Actually it depends on your requirement. Most of the times it's better to stick with the brandof original tyres as it's inline with the requirements of the particular bike. If you plan to go for some other model or make, I would advice to go for lighter tyre. About comparing the brands you mentioned, I have personally used Michelin, MRF and Ceat. Out of these I find MRF to best value for money. It offers both better grip and durability. Ceat is more durable but grip is lower. Hope this helps. Ride safe

If you get tyre with 3-4 year old with big discount go for it. Only track tyre I mean soft compound which will last only year.
