Please React to "God Machine" by Acid Bath. Although a good copy might be tough to find on RUclips, I think the label keeps taking down album copies. Please don't bother if it's a live version, doesn't do the song justice.
If you dont know who Acid Bath is you better ask somebody. These swamp rats were way before there time. Definitely the best unknown metal band in the world.
This is easily their most accessible song. Acid Bath put out 2 full length albums during their time. 2 perfect, non skippable track, albums. They were way ahead of their time for damn sure.
Their music still holds strong today, way ahead of their time. It is really sad they never reached the popularity they deserved. They were one of the greatest bands out at the time and the music still sounds better than 95% of modern metal.
Just into Acid Bath in the last month, heard their name around 10 years ago but just recently listened to them finally. Fell in love instantly. The Morticians Flame & Scream of The Butterfly are a must by AB!
I was lucky enought to buy a 45 vinily when rotten records had promoted them 1986 still the hardest shit " you heard death now listen to the sound of murder " is what made caught my interest dri fan club I was 16
Samael shirt, not Zombie. Acid Bath's second album is closer to this song than the album this song is on. 85% of the time I prefer the second album, but that other 15% knows how to go off.
One of the most underrated an unknown bands ever.. Stupid good band and musicians, Si ger/Dax amazing.. Ever hear a band cover Acid Bath, no cause its damn hard with the drummer especially..!...
Acid Bath were one of the progenitors of the New Orleans sludge scene, hence the similarities to Down. If you want another NOLA sludge outfit, check out eyehategod.
Acid Bath is a band rich with that Southern sound, Dax is influenced heavily by Blues music his solo stuff along with his Agents of oblivion and deadboy stuff is absolutely amazing as well but if you like this song then Bleed me an Ocean is a must.
"i wanna get fucked up and listen to it" this dude gets acid bath. fans of acid bath should also check out fudge tunnel, weedeater, charger and bongripper
Subbed just because you did Acid Bath, and beyond stoked you dig ‘em. Highly recommend “Cassie Eats Cockroaches”-it’s a fucking mind bender. I now humbly plead you to check out Exhorder “My Time”-they came up in NOLA around the same time, but way more old school thrash/punk mixed with that stank ass swamp groove. It has been argued that Pantera swiped their style once Phil joined up. And now I need to go deep with your Jinjer reacts-love those cats. Cheers and keep digging deep into the NOLA scene. 🤘🔥❤️🔥🤘
Your getting it but listen to all acid bath it's so life changing been a fan since 1986/87? But yeah fuck what people think don't listen to nothing else but acid bath do it now!
May be old. But you mentioned being not sure about punk. I'm not a big punk guy. But listen to "Scrape" by UNSANE. They're from NYC. You might like em.. I'm a big fan
I feel like we dont agree on Jinjer, they rock my world as much as Acid Bath. But do you know what, that's cool. My best mate takes the piss out of me for liking em, and thats cool too, because music is subjective. I love a ton of punk, noise, grind, death, sludge, alt and even D&B. My missus hates half of that too. Haha. Because music can be deeply personal its instinctive to leap to the defence but we should all learn to chill, especially in comments. Certain music either hooks you or it doesn't. Its *NOT* a reliable distinguisher of a persons character. But I can say for sure, if you are digging Acid Bath then that's all cool. I've loved them since the mid nineties and am so pleased to see them slowly get more recognition in a wider audience. Great reaction, peace and hope this gets you looking into more of their catalogue (it's only really two albums sadly.) RIP Audie.
Great band shame they only did 2 albums but better than nothing.definitely corrosion of conformity influence.corrosion also did punk hardcore albums, have you not heard any of that?
Looks like the dislikes were probably from Jinjer fans.... lol 😆

Acid Bath was gone too soon. They managed to release the most perfect pair of albums ever recorded in their time together. R.I.P. Audie Pitre
Word up, well said
Rest in Peace.
Well now a reunion

"I see your lips moving but can't hear what you say.
AND I DON'T THINK I GIVE A FUCK ANYWAYS"
one of my favourite lyrics there
Fond memories of watching this band in 1995 in New Iberia Louisiana.

Welcome to the skeletal circus.
How's it going now?

Try Paegen love song and New death sensation.... You won't be disappointed 😊
One of the best sludge metal bands ever and they did only 2 albums

Just found your channel cause of acid bath. Subbed cause i like your vibe. Hope you did more acid bath, however i'm down for what else ya got. 🖖
This an OOOOOOLD video, but I'm down for whatever my dude, throw me a request!
It doesn’t get better than Acid Bath, man. It’s my meditation music. 🤘🏴☠️

Acid Bath are amazing. One of the many awesome southern Louisiana bands.
I got a very strong corrosion of conformity vibe from this. Nice and happy birthday Carrie.
I haven't heard much of them so I'll have to take your word for it, but I really liked this!
@@31TV_TX I heard you mention the band down right after I posted that comment. Pepper Keenan of down sings for corrosion of conformity.
Oh no shit!?! That's bad ass!
Thank you Chris!
@@31TV_TX actually Phil from Pantera sings for Down, and Pepper plays guitar.

🤘🔥❤️🔥🤘
This is what am talking about Saw them live with Testament one time
HELL YES!
Link for the video?
You caught the vibe exactly, this was THE band in my highschool late 90s.
Both albums they put out are fucking awesome, but you probably already know that
the other day watching your reactions to jinjer i was about to recommend acid bath haha, glad you like it!
WAAAY better than Jinjer
@@31TV_TX for sure, totally agreed
Acid Bath was totally slept on cause the NuMetal scene fucked it up!!!

This is the weakest song on the album. But its still better than 99% of todays garbage.. That breakdown is great!
One of the best songs on the album imo
@@tgegetry8781 yeah i agree but its one of the least brutal heavy and its more palatable/accessible
Alice in Chains sound?iT's the other way around ..
Great band shame they only did 2 albums but better than nothing.definitely corrosion of conformity influence.corrosion also did punk hardcore albums, have you not heard any of that?
i have not! lets do some reactions!!! gimme some ideas!!!
@@31TV_TX For pure punk/hardcore/metal crossover greatness, check out COC’s “Technocracy” and “Animosity” records.
Can you react to more acid bath
Sorry brother. Acid Bath is not for you to "fuck with". AIC? Soundgarden? Down? wtf man. No sir. Sorry dude. This aint your lane.
What’s wrong with thinking all those bands are great? Gatekeep much?
