Congrats 🥳🥳🥳 on 2k. Definitely well deserved 😘 Wow I did not know string pine could melt sponges. People leave sponges in their pine buckets for extended periods of time and I don’t recall anyone mentioning this. The melted sponge does actually look softer to squeeze but the bounce back is reminding me of bleach damaged sponges. You can get the Pinalen powder deposits out by letting them completely dry and then shaking the powder out or running the sponges under hot tap water and rubbing. You can also use super hot water and Pinalen with laundry powder to rub it out.
I am bummed about the sponges. I was hoping it would be a fix but now I'll just need to put in the work to get them soft and lovely! You shared those trick with me about the powder deposits before. I haven't had time to work on them though. I might do that one of these nights this week to relax and unwind 😌☺ I owe a lot of my success to you my friend! Dear Queen, You worry far too much! I can only speak for myself, but based upon the comments I see regularly I feel many may agree with me. It's ok. Really...it is. I know behind the scenes so to speak, you are an awesome mom, wife, employee and human. It would be crazy to think you don't get busy. I tune in to relax and have fun and I just wouldn't feel right knowing you are stressing trying to fit it in when life gets hectic. I know I'm not going anywhere. Where would I go? Tik Toks are too short. I'm not a fan of Instagram (I never could understand the fascination with taking pictures of what we eat) and I get too many unsolicited pictures and messages on Facebook. So here on good 'ol RUclips is where I go. You were one of the very first ASMR channels I came across and through your content (along with a couple other Queens) is where I fell in love with sponge squeezing and paste making. I have bad anxiety and deal with panic and anxiety attacks. It sucks. Finding this hobby has helped in ways medication and other methods couldn't. I am so appreciative of it and the people who create the content and post for us to enjoy. That's why I felt I needed to write this. Good days and bad. Busy or relaxed. You are appreciated. Your content is appreciated. Editing is a treat. Chaptering is an extravagance we are privileged to. Never apologize for things out of your control. Your audience is very forgiving. It still smells amazing! I love these sponges, but they were a bit hard to squeeze. They aren't very stiff, so sometimes they felt like wet noodles 😂
