I started my candle Merry Berry yesterday, and I love it and also in the same room I have Woodwick Current burning, and the two together are amazing. Just love them. For the first time saw in December Yankee Candle was having a sale, well I really took advantage of it. I wanted WoodWick ones but their sale was not good so went on Amazon and got several. I had not burned candles for many years but am loving these new Tumblers with two wicks. I found they are much stronger than the original container. I have Fireside in WoodWick another favorite. Pink sands is one I love also. It’s so pretty. Enjoy your video.

Wood smoke has to be one of my absolute favourite candles. Found a medium one initially, probably the first candle I bought for myself and recently purchased it in the eclipse jar. So glad to have found it again. Slowly building a woodwick collection alongside Yankee candle. Bought a crimson berries woodwick that I'm excited to try out as well.

OMG Spun Sugar Flurries is EVERYTHING!!! That said, it’s more of a floral/laundry scent for me. Soooo great for Winter and early Spring, and I actually burned it very successfully for Christmas in July! 🥰🥰🥰

Great video. It was a nice surprise to see another video from you.
Agree with your comment on All is Bright as a new year's day candle. I've used it for that day too in the past.
Woodwick candles are great - particularly in winter as having that cosy sound just seems right during the long winter nights.
Fireside is a classic scent and great at any time during winter. I've got a Wood Smoke candle, but I've not got around to burning it yet!
Another great winter Woodwick scent is Spiced Blackberry - it's gorgeous. Other Woodwicks that I would recommend are Warm Wool which is similar in a way to Soft Blanket (which I burnt last night ironically) and Evening Onyx which is a great evening scent. That one is hard to describe, but I think you'd like it after seeing the sorts of candles that you like from your videos.

Spiced Blackberry sounds like one I would love!! I will also look out for the others you suggested!💕

Love Red Apple Wreath!! Have used it from Autumn through to Christmas. Home sweet Home is another good one, especially if you love your cinnamon ❄️💕

Hi thank you for the video.
Over here in the Netherlands the new desert collection also only have the desert blooms one in the tumbler, the others are only available as a signature jar. The shopkeepers told me, yankee will not sell the tumblers anymore ( at least over here in the Netherlands) because they are more expensive. But I love the tumblers so much more.

Hey Gaby I agree with you I love the tumblers a lot more, I am thinking they will fade them out in the future for the jars, which will be a shame.

Cherries On Snow is absolutely amazing, loved how strong the throw was. All Is Bright was wonderful, that was one of my first candles from Yankee back in 2018. I've seen Snow In Love melt cups at Ross. I have Merry Berry and need to burn it one Christmas. Candlelit Cabin in tealights was good. I burned a large jar some years back for Christmas, nice scent. Fireside is a nice classic from Woodwick, can be burned even in the Summer as it reminds me of campfires at night. I re-purchased Whipped Matcha, Honeysuckle, Frasier Fir, Applewood, Currant, Cinnamon Chai, and bought a new one called Evergreen Cashmere as these scents are really nice throughout the year. Wood Smoke is great for the Fall, it's harsher on the smoke note, more so than its cousin Evening Bonfire. Smoked Walnut & Maple was really good, I enjoyed it. Their Caramel Crunch will be burned holiday season this year. Smoked Vanilla & Cashmere was my first Christmas candle burned in 2022. It was amazing, liked the scent. I have yet to do Twinkling Lights, I like it as well on cold. I'm burning White Spruce & Grapefruit it has a wick issue, quite disappointing. I have yet to burn the new Christmas collection as well as the new Under The Desert Sun Collection: Aloe & Agave, Desert Blooms, Canyon Pine, Stargazing, and Sweet Vanilla Horchata. Pink Sands and Soft Blanket are good ones! I enjoyed the sugary sweet smell of Spun Sugar Flurries. A strange one to avoid would be Yankee's Spiced Pumpkin Cider, just nasty. Another would be Home Inspiration's Harvest Pumpkin Pie; it was also nasty. Happy Burning.

Great idea with the woodwicks burning them Summer time too I think will work really well. Honeysuckle sounds good as do the others. You will like Twinkling Lights it’s lovely. Spiced Pumpkin Cider sounds really good but yet you say it was nasty?? Not come across this one yet. Happy burning Scott 💕

@@Candyflames123 Yes, Woodwick scents are good through Summer too. Spiced Pumpkin Cider had too much spice in it, smelled like an overripe pumpkin. Honeysuckle is a random one to find at the Ross store. It's a nice floral.

If I collected the tumbler jars I would be mightily peeved with YC. As someone who is quite particular about consistency I would be very frustrated that my growing collection would not be uniform in style. I have begun transitioning to the new signature jars and fortunately all new scents seem to come in that style. I hate that they are more expensive but smaller in size than the classic jars, but I also can’t resist going along with them.

Honestly I am so annoyed that this new under the desert sun collection which is a collection of 4 here in the UK has only 1 in the tumbler???? The jars are nice but not what I am collecting so I am going to hold off for a while in the hope of the tumbler form appearing as you say I like my collection to be all one type. Not sure what Yankee Candle are playing at!!! ❄️💕

Excellent suggestions. Other great winter scents are Alpine Morning, Cranberry Ice, Winter Night Stars and Winter Wonder. All is Bright has to be one of my all time favourite YC scents - I love the word you used for it, “uplifting” - it really is!

Ooo Winter Night Stars I forgot that one that’s annoying as it is a great Winter scent! All is bright you can’t go wrong with! ❄️💕

I have heard that YC has brought out new 3-wick-tumblers (BBW-style) in the US, beginning with the new desert-bloom-collection. Maybe that's why they will eventually phase out the tumblers? Have you heard about introducing these 3-wick-candles in Europe? That would explain a lot.

    • @Candyflames123
      @Candyflames123  7 месяцев назад +1

I have heard that it is happening but haven’t heard about them permanently getting rid of the tumblers. I hope not although I would like the 3 wicks, but I bet if you blink they will be gone! Im guessing rubbish on the burn time don’t you think? 😃

My favorite scents for winter are Cafe Al Fresco, as I love coffee and Vanilla Cupcake, as it has a sweet warm aroma. Both of those scents are cozy for me and my family really likes them as well. Thanks for the video and am looking forward to more from your channel this year! 😊
