Great review ty sir. I have a Simplicity Snow Away 2 stage gas-powered blower. When the snow is really wet or slushy, it clogs every time. I've been debating on getting a single stage for the wet slushy snow. I'm not sure if battery or gas is the way to go 🤔
Great video for comparing old vs new. You have lot of patience to explain clearly. Actually I bought old one couple of days ago, I’m from Kentucky where we get light slow like less than 5” of snow maximum in a day ( exception this year, we got 9” with ice too) . I want to use this snow blower for my driveway, but after seeing your video I’m confused whether I need to use old one or need to upgrade to new one. Please suggest.
Hey buddy, the old one is fine, especially in your case where you don’t get a lot of snow. The good news is the rubber paddles are replaceable if you have to down the road, but it doesn’t seem like you will for a long time. Also, don’t forget they do make a snow shovel, which is good for you know the smaller snow storms. Thanks so much for watching and for your support.
Those skid shoes have me thinking... I rarely need a blower, but when I do it would be used on a gravel driveway. I should probably stick with a two-stage. For my patio and walks the "power shovel" attachment for the power head seems sufficient.
i have the OG and I am happy with it...just like the EGO original self propelled lawn mower, I like simpler...less moving parts and less likely for things to go bad...the skid plates are probably the only thing extra that i would take and those are not anything electrical,,i use mine to do the back deck for the dogs and a little path around the yard...rarely use it for anything like a driveway....best for decks and steps and small areas
I'm still over the fence with the 2134. I have a driveway of 2 cars on gravel, not sure to commit to a 2 stage or a single stage. I wanted to see how tall the skid shoes lift the auger...
If you can afford it, get the two stage and you’ll never worry about anything. Also, I’m not sure if you have any EGO-tools but I highly recommend two sets of batteries.
I have the original and it’s not really that impressive to be honest. Having said that I did come from a gas powered much larger self propelled 2-stage blower. I’ll likely upgrade to one of Ego’s self propelled 2-stage models, but I’m not in any rush because we just don’t get that much snow anymore.🤷♂️
The single stages are a waste of money, most of them end up for sale within a year at half price, save up and buy the 2 stage. I got rid of my single stage within a month of use and I even added ego shoes and the steel auger. They break with little abuse
I’ve had mine for many years and it serves its purpose, they are much lighter than the two stage and much more portable. I have taken mine to a few friends houses to help them
Why am i watching this video when i live in area with no snow? Because i love this channel.
Thank you
Very informative.
Thanks for taking the time to create this video.
Thanks Jeff

i have the old one too. so far no issues other than some rust on the bottom section.
Do you have video of snt2134 in snow?
No sorry
Awesome review :). In your opinion, do you prefer this model or the auger propelled SNT2125AP?
Hey thanks
Auger propelled don’t work as well as I liked this has some nice features finally when I don’t need my 2 stage
@ Thank you for the reply and help. I have really been going back and forth between the rubber and steel auger on a stage 1.
You got it buddy
I’ve used the rubber one for a long time I used it mainly for like my Back Patio because the single stage is so much lighter.
Those skid shoes have me thinking... I rarely need a blower, but when I do it would be used on a gravel driveway. I should probably stick with a two-stage.

The skid shoes are a necessary addition. I had to add Greenworks skid shoes to my SNT2112.
Definitely buddy happy holidays to you

Had mine for years now no issues
Same back deck
Nice review.. Great detail👍
Thanks Frank
Hope Lowes starts carrying this model soon. Got a 10% off coupon I would like to use.
I don’t know why Lowe’s seems to be last when these products come out

I have the OG. New one has some nice features I’d like but not worth the upgrade
Agree, definitely enjoy 👍🏼

You really can’t compare a single stage to a two stage, but the newer model has some nicer upgrades. I use this for small jobs like my back patio.
Were you able to determine if the skid shoes shown in this video will fit the older SNT2100 model for some one willing to drill a few holes?
Out of the box no they won’t the bottoms are different, if you’re good with metal, I’m pretty sure you could make it happen pretty easily
Try “Greenworks skid plate assembly”. Worked perfectly on mine.

Snowblower snobs. Now I’ve seen everything.
