- Walk today in Playa De Las Americas Tenerife into the Catalonia Oro Negro Hotel from Libbys Lounge and the Whiskey Jar passing Las Floritas Apartments also. Rooms were decent and hotel very clean but I didnt rate the breakfast too highly although to be fair I have heard that evening meals are ok. Great to see you up at LAS floritas and the whiskey jar, stayed at LAS floritas 11 times and I have never had a problem with the noise from the road, great night to be had at the whiskey jar,pop in and see my good buddy Jock McFadyen from Dundee 👍 Toots granton Edinburgh 👍🥃🍷🍺

My preferred option is just down the road the Zentral Center, it's like a comfy pair of slippers, I know where everything is and it's easy stagger distance from The Gaelic Corner/ Dubliner.
Hi I stayed in that hotel March 2020 I liked the rooms and location good.

@@eryllawson7760 can't say I've seen them there Eryl, I have witnessed it in other places but, to be fair, I've also seen this in Tel Aviv and Havana so, it exists all over the world.
Stayed here twice in 2022 first time B and b breakfast was good large choice for 3star hotel , 2nd time was hard board breakfast good again evening meal plenty of choice but had to pay for all drinks even water couldn't take your own water in witch was bad in my opinion food was ok, I recommend bb if you stay here plenty of sun loungers top area catches the sun all day witch is great if you want to sunbathe. All in all not bad hotel for price good for a 3 star hotel. We played £450 each for August 2022 so can't moan

Hi Kevin been ora negro a few times and the noise has never troubled me during the day we were out and evenings ,when we came back in the late hours there was no problem with noise,enjoy the rest of your stay my friend 🥃🍻

The Ore- Negro is a great value hotel . Yes the road is busy but the rooms facing the pool are quiet .
The breakfasts are of a decent standard especially the fresh omelettes and fried eggs .
And yes the staff are brilliant
Hi Kevin, We’ve never been for a drink in that area, been past it many times but it is a very busy road and we wouldn’t want to sit outside a bar with so much traffic, don’t like the noise or the exhaust fumes

The China garden Chinese is fantastic 👌 😋 Kevin also la bruschetta de viviana is very good Italian I agree with you about the food it's awful but rooms clean good aircon great views

I stayed here for 12 days last year and going back for 2 weeks in august, brilliant hotel for the money and food is good aswell

as your video shows once inside the road noise disapears same with bedrooms ( unless you sleep with the doors open ) I stayed at sister hotel blanco no probs

I've stayed at The Oro Blanco which is just along from Oro Negro. Hotel was decent, but like yourself, I'm not a fan of the location, it can be a bit dodgy walking back at night.

I stayed next door at the Oro Blanco, Mrs was in tears, balcony was tiny, bar and pool was shabby, the area at night my word, if hookers and strippers are your bag it’s wonderful… very stayed anywhere that warned you about hookers pmsl You could exit at the rear tho and a quick walk to the pubs, was close to my fav Restaurant Mama rosas so not all bad. Had a decent night in the whiskey jar tho, looking back think the couple we met might have been swingers tho, went on to find karaoke and they kept trying to get us to go in strip clubs lol .. actually great holiday looking back not sure why the Mrs won’t go back to the area
@@Nonbeardedbeerlover I'm pretty sure that was the last time we stayed in Las Americas, it's been Los Cristianos ever since. I remember the wee path at the back, that was well dodgy, we avoided that at night.
@@Silver_Staramg yeh think the hotel closed the back gate at 10.00, we went Marie Nostrum next time to make up for it haha. Trying Cost Adeje in 24 days time :)

Stayed there for a week a while back, very clean, room good, staff very friendly, food not so good, very repetitive each day.
Stayed at Las Floritas worst 10 nights sleep would have been better on floor. Whiskey jar good night and remember jock from calley bar days in the 90s.

I disgree about the breakfast, we have stayed there 3 times . The food is good .
