I been playing thanos since the comic spotlight. With samsquanch/skaar you get an awesome combo. I almost don't want to play other decks because getting a 20 power mad titan, then cull obsidian and cairera there's not much your opponent can do. After his buff he feels so much better once you get used to changes
Brewing with new thanos has been so much fun! Currently werewolf with hope summers and spectrum feels good. Even slotting in Thena feels good in it. They all have ongoing or on reveal cards so playing them out feels good. You could even use killmonger to free up space in your hope lane and to make your Death cheaper. Thanos just feels unique right now! Dope vid once again bro!
These changes are a step in the right direction, but getting him to a 6-20 is a huge investment and very hard. Also it has so many counters like spider ham, any mill cards, killmonger, junk, or bad location. I hope they give the stones a little more power, even if they increase their cost. The change to soul stone really brought the power of the stones down a bunch.
Whenever Spider Ham is even slightly present in the meta, you just slot in MMM, and suddenly you have a 0/10 pig. Mill can make your Blob dead, but sometimes just helps you draw your Blue Marvels and Spectrums and gives them stones. Kill monger is arguably stronger now, but you probably aren't running a Thanos list without some combo of Armor, Cosmo, and Caiera so you are at least competitive depending on your draw. Junk is interesting, as I think it depends on which Thanos you are playing. If I'm playing on going Spectrum Thanos, I don't mind having some extra stones or a widows kiss. Other versions, I might be retreating early. The best part about Thanos is that you can really tailor your deck to keep much any meta. You can't counter everything, but you can run a competitive deck against whatever the top 2-3 meta decks you are seeing are most times.

The Thanos changes was almost exactly what I was thinking it should be and even commented it should be. It shouldn't be focused on other cards as much as getting Thanos out

One of the biggest issues Zoo had was the ability to go vertical. Now Thanos actually feels like a dependable stat stick, plus with 5 1-cost stones he's practically archetype defining. I faced someone agansit the ongoing thanos deck they lost by one power. I was ready to see the thanos animation and all all they needed to do was play both of their remaining stones but they ended up playing blue marvel and soul stone I was so disappointed that I didn’t lose to the mad titan. They did get unlucky though when they played reality stone and it turned into space throne tho t5. Limiting their final play having only 2 spots left. (They had already played thanos through project Pegasus)

I have had one person play Thanos into my Professor X lane, which is cool. HOWEVER Bifrost still works on Thanos even in a Prof X lane with space stone onboard btw.
I wonder if the turn 6 play in game 1 could have been She Hulk into Thanos since Space Stone was up. Doesn’t really matter since you won but it could have been cool to see if that worked.
I have a feeling right now that they wanne make him sort of a exodia archetype but wat the stones get him to is not enough tbh having to play all stones to just get a 6/20 that can not be shangshi and ignores prof x is kinda bad
Black Swan is like the battle pass card that the devs just said "Fck this card". Just put Swan along side some of the black order in discard like change Ebony, Swan, and SG to be playable with Corvus, PM and Cull
I'm trying Thanos lock with Professor. Seams ok. If you draw Blue stone you can blindly professor the lane and if you're losing just sent Thanos there.
Thanos is really difficult to play now. I played like 20 games on Wednesday and STRUGGLED to draw stones. It made the experience ridiculously impossible to enjoy! I love the idea and approach they have taken BUT whats the use if we not drawing stones? 2 other friends experienced the exact same frustration!

I think Thanos needs more power for getting all 6 stones out there. There just seems like easier options for getting either near 20 power or 20+ power. SD should bump him to at least 25 power for having all 6 stones along with him in play. I do like this direction they are going though.

i just budget thanos only for me. no gilgamesh n cull. (1st deck) no redhulk,sasquatch,skaar(2nd deck) maybe i open spotlight for thanos n cull when it's out.
Thanos might be better but he's still not good. He bricks opening hands more often than not because he starts in hand and isnt an extra card (like Agatha). Give all the stones draw, bring mind back to 1 cost, and make him an extra card in opening hand and i think he will be good.
I'm still mad at them for nerfing Thanos... Not because he didn't need a nerf but because I could never get my Infinity Gauntlet variant Inked. 😅 Guess I can get back to work on that now.😊
I just won an 8 cuber against a Thanos deck cuz my cannonball moved the Thanos to my prof x lane which I was winning by over 10 My opponent even played caiera t6 to try and protect him

Man, I felt that Danger Room nonsense. I have cards die there far more than I have them stick. That is one of my most hated locations.
On your new Thanos deck I think cutting Sasquatch for Taskmaster might be the best play
