Bianca’s look is absolutely stunning, and she’s probably still finding glitter in random places, to this day.
Thank you for including the returning looks of S1-AS1 for the S5 finale, normally those never get included and are just forgotten about so was great to see.
Jinkx's look was her homage to her home city of Seattle, which is known as "The Emerald City" because with all the trees and flowers, it's very green.
Violets look just remains untouchable after nearly a decade
Symone did exactly what she did during the season which was "do it for the culture". The look was insane, it's custom, it's freaking cool.

I actually LOVED that Simone wore this giant red ball gown on the red carpet with a dread lock crown, looking like what you’d EXPECT her step down look to be. Then she wears this instead is so punk.

Symone's step down was epic and grand. But it was a reference, so people thought it was a simple look when in reality its EXTREMELY DETAILED and fierce.
I'm going to say something that will probably make Mera excited: if there is an All Stars España season 2, Drag Sethlas will also have a step-down look!
Some people trash Yvie’s look, but I think no matter what she would have worn, it would not have had the same impact had it been viewed on a stage. She could have modeled something spectacular against a background of the Colorado mountains and it still wouldn’t have had the same visual effect as being designed and scaled to be seen on a large stage. So what she did was smart, very on brand, and spoke to a specific point in time.
To add to this: Who in the general audience remembers a single one of the cast of season 12’s finale looks?? Like I myself am partial to Jaida’s look which is why I remember it, but other than that and Crystal’s piñata (which she also probably wouldn’t have done on a stage), I don’t remember a single look. I recall Aiden’s being especially good but even then I couldn’t describe the look to you. Love this analysis tho
@@michaelbeardi6178That’s interesting because those three are also the only ones I remember from the season 12 finale. Like with Yvie, the season 12 cast missed out presenting their finale outfits on a large stage. As good as Aiden’s was, for example, it would have been so much more impressive on a stage.

I don't think ppl truly understand how amazing it was to see Violet's in real time. I'm pretty sure I cried lmaooooo I just rem feeling overwhelmed like wait what is happening why can't I feel my limbs HOW DOES SHE LOOK LIKE THIS!??
IMO you can't top it, that kind of moment only happens once and that was it. There's been amazing gowns since but none that do *that* for me.
people (of the white variety, mostly) gave symone so much shit for her step down look. i remember when everyone was calling her lazy, saying the look was a disappointment, etc. her step down look is definitely my favorite step down look, EVER. its not lazy or a disappointment in the slightest, like people claimed it was.
Nobody ever talks about the fact that Symones top is literally sculpted to her body like I was so stunned when I saw the making process of it

The Dutch show you're talking about is 'Make Up Your Mind', which is similar to Secret Celebrity Drag Race (mixed with masked singer). Dutch celebrities perform in drag and two teams captained by Fred and NikkieTutorials have to guess who they are. There is a drag panel that includes Vanessa, ChelseaBoy, Janey and Envy is the head judge on it!
Nicky Nicole is also in the panel, I was looking for this comment cause I wanted to say it aswell!

You know, in terms of topics to cover, what about Polarizing Drag Race alums? As in ones the viewers either seem to love or can’t stand? Ones like Kandy Muse, Plane Jane, Loosey LaDuca, JAN, and so on.
Is PJ polarising? By the end of the season she had gained a huge following
@@MichaelSmith-zx5lw she started off the season as a villain, and had multiple shady moments throughout it (most notably her feud with Amanda, which people now seem to flip-flop on whose side they're on). Jane got some more relatable moments as the season went on, but others don't look past the initial villainous/shady edit she got in the start of the season. Plus, some argue whether she got a major push in the season, notably with the Burger Fingers thing for the talent show.

I’ll never understand why Symone got so much hate for their look. I think people have since come around to it, but all the hate at the time was so weird.
I thought it was up there with the Violet, Jinkx, and Bianca looks where they stayed true to themselves but elevated it by 100x. And Symone did just that. Something about a queen staying true to themselves for a step down look elevates the look even more.
AND you could tell it was meticulously made and every detail was thought out and executed to perfection.
