- That´s an AGL custom made tremolo, aluminum tremolo block, allparts steel plate, and Gotoh saddles in the first part of the video. Second part is all the same, only saddles been switched to Highwood HG Contoured Vintage Guitar Saddles. Saddle change been made by saving the strings, so strings are the same in whole video. Check video in HD quality only, so you get best sound results, as sound quality is better when using 720p or higher.

That's the truth, yes!
These Highwood Vintage Strat Saddles are made in such a way that the screws used to adjust Saddle height don't protrude, so there is no longer risk of my hand getting injured - these feel super smooth. It only took 60+ years for someone to come up with this simple innovation. The Highwood's have more fundamental (true Vintage!) Tone then regular stamped Saddles. Excellent !

@@vintagepipesnightmares just because they didn't injure their hand doesn't mean that the design of the saddles was stupid. Highwood design is way better in every possible way.
The Wilkinson VSVG has saddles where the screws thread at the bottom. The innovation has been around for years. Highwood seems to have incorporated that idea into a regular steel saddle design.

@@AcysLounge don't worry and thanks a bunch. BTW I can hear the differences by this video - highwounds give more attack and loudness - but I'ld like to hear them plugged in order to figure out wheter your guitar might sound like a 50s one
I like the concept of the test, listening to the guitar ambient is cool, but.........next time back off the compression and verb. Covers up the honesty in the resonance of the different saddles.

This is electric guitar. Recording should have been done by plugged amp, not microphone used for acoustic guitar. That is more reasonable.
