When others at the same age is failing audition (2nd stage), she don't even have the chance to go for audition because she always fail in the 1st stage (which directors choose people based on resume or something, i dont know what we call that) She keep on applying for auditions for about 3 years and finally she got a minor role and debut in "school 2013" But she only got very very minor roles in mv and some drama. Luckily 1or 2 years after that, she met good director and writers from drama "High school king of savvy" that gave her the chance for a bigger(?) minor role. And slowly she got more important roles after that by the help of them (the director and writer suggest her to production team of "oh my ghost" and "she was pretty"). That's why she said in interview, she is very thankful towards them for trusting in her. After that she gained attention little by little and i guess things slowly get better after that. I first got to know this actress when I watched Mr Queen and I remembered thinking how expressive this actress was and how good her comedic timing was. Curious, I watched her earlier dramas and am now watching My Golden Life. Ms Shin is now my top 4 Kdrama actress (Sohn Ye-Jin, Gianna Jun, Lee Ji-Eun and now Shin Hye Sun). She is pretty in her own unique way but her acting is incredible. Her wide range of emotions gets you invested in her character and she is such a joy to watch. Acting is a craft indeed. Now watching her get emotional when receiving this award, I couldnt help but cry along with her. She must have faced so many naysayers who must have discouraged her from pursuing her dream. It makes me so happy to see that she achieved her dream.

For 40yrs of my life since I was 3rd grade, I hvn't broken tears from anything, even upon multiple broken relationships in the past, but her performance alongside with Seo Dad in this drama have made my eyes wet too many times beyond my comprehension but her pure extreme talented and realistic performance worthy of every fan's time spent enjoying this drama.
She was awesome in Mr Queen, how she managed to be 3 people and did a great job in all the 3 roles, just amazed me and most probably all her audience. She can be funny, dramatic and lovestruck without an inch of looking overkill or mediocre. One of my faves, definitely.

I also cried with her... there are so many people who troll her for her face. I'm her fan. When i first watch her drama " still 17" from that time i became her fan. Though her acting is completely different from other actresses. But she's very talented. I've watched her all dramas.

@@user-ix8sk8dy4k Im not sure is this related to the first comment, but from what i know from internet, (pls correct me if im wrong)
It's not easy for her.
When others at the same age is failing audition (2nd stage), she don't even have the chance to go for audition because she always fail in the 1st stage (which directors choose people based on resume or something, i dont know what we call that)
She keep on applying for auditions for about 3 years and finally she got a minor role and debut in "school 2013"
But she only got very very minor roles in mv and some drama.
Luckily 1or 2 years after that, she met good director and writers from drama
"High school king of savvy" that gave her the chance for a bigger(?) minor role.
And slowly she got more important roles after that by the help of them (the director and writer suggest her to production team of "oh my ghost" and "she was pretty"). That's why she said in interview, she is very thankful towards them for trusting in her.
After that she gained attention little by little and i guess things slowly get better after that.

I first got to know this actress when I watched Mr Queen and I remembered thinking how expressive this actress was and how good her comedic timing was. Curious, I watched her earlier dramas and am now watching My Golden Life. Ms Shin is now my top 4 Kdrama actress (Sohn Ye-Jin, Gianna Jun, Lee Ji-Eun and now Shin Hye Sun). She is pretty in her own unique way but her acting is incredible. Her wide range of emotions gets you invested in her character and she is such a joy to watch. Acting is a craft indeed. Now watching her get emotional when receiving this award, I couldnt help but cry along with her. She must have faced so many naysayers who must have discouraged her from pursuing her dream. It makes me so happy to see that she achieved her dream.
shes always acting as a supporting role like the second lead or the “girl next door”, so im glad she’s getting more roles as lead. shes such a great actress and i look forward to more of her work in the future

For 40yrs of my life since I was 3rd grade, I hvn't broken tears from anything, even upon multiple broken relationships in the past, but her performance alongside with Seo Dad in this drama have made my eyes wet too many times beyond my comprehension but her pure extreme talented and realistic performance worthy of every fan's time spent enjoying this drama.
She was awesome in Mr Queen, how she managed to be 3 people and did a great job in all the 3 roles, just amazed me and most probably all her audience. She can be funny, dramatic and lovestruck without an inch of looking overkill or mediocre. One of my faves, definitely.

I have watched this so many times and I still do from time to time. She was so emotional during that time and we all know now that nobody deserved this award more than she did. Shin Hye Sun has proven herself to be an excellent actress and continues to do so nowadays. I understand now why she cried and was overwhelmed with emotions because this recognition and award was long overdue for her. I am waiting anxiously and patiently for her next drama....

Dang! She was gushing with tears and neverending in her thankfulness and gratitude. This woman deserves this so much and I only know her from her minor/supporting role as Eun-Hee Kang from 'Oh My Ghost'. Besides the two leads there wasn't another character who broke my heart and lifted me up more. One can recognize excellence and pure talent when they see it.
