Hi, thank you for showing the Wentworth Caravan Park. We have stayed there numerous times, the last was summer 2019/2020. The caravan park was terrific we swam in the Darling river and the facilities there were terrific, the management were so friendly. We had such good times there. Keep up your terrific videos.
Hey Mark great video as usual..good to see you looking so well...got my camper van...yr 2000 high roof lwb Merc Sprinter auto, got it from Melbourne, yesterday...on the way home we were on the Ngarkat Hwy heading toward Pinnaroo, my son was driving my sprinter and I was following in his 2008 Pajero.....then guess what....yea I hit a flaming big roo....around 3.15 am....... I wasnt as lucky as your encounter...bloody big bugga went smack straight into the grill, I was doing around 90 clicks at the time, he dropped down and I went straight over the top of him... done quite a bit of damage to the front, but I was amazed she was still driveable, thank goodness for that as where it happened there was no mobile service so could not ring RAA....so after a bit of roadside assessment we drove on home to Lameroo reaching there right on daybreak this morning.....take care until next time... :)
Plenty of sand bagging at Murray Bridge around the Community Club and Rowing Club, all hands on deck yesterday with the SES. We took a 3 hour river boat cruise on the Captain Proud and got a really good look at the river lapping at the top of the edge of the banks and in some parts overlapping the edges. With the new levy break in Wentworth Channel 9 News reported 201 million litres of water headed our way. 😳 This is going to be a very difficult season for many more along the Great River Murray. Keep shining! ✝️💖🕊️
She's flowing.. was up walker flat last week and it's not looking good already.. will be interesting with mannum in a few weeks. Great video, keep up the good work
Thanks, had to go to Mannum today with work & they have a lot of work going on. Looks like a few of the shops & houses below the Pretoria will be in trouble.
Great report on the river levels and whats happening around the riverland any chance of a report around the lower lakes, Narrung, Clayton Bay, and possibly the Coorong? Cheers
I will go down that way in a few weeks as not much happening this end yet. I've been taking photos of a jetty in Murray Bridge for the last 5 weeks & the water has only come up about 15cm but it will be here soon. I don't think it is going to be that noticeable down in the lakes but I'm usually wrong 😊
Thumbs up. We camped just below lock 10 on the rivers edge at the end of June. The water had just started to trickle over the bank in one spot to the low lying areas behind, quite a bit different now. GFC, better than a Global Financial Crisis.
Hiya Angry.....question?.....what will the flooding mean in terms of the feral carp? Will it flush them seaward or trap them in pockets? Thanks for updates :)
Hoody & thank you 😊 Yeh not sure, I think they will hang around & stay in little pockets, I know a lot of fish will swim against the current but not too sure about carp.
Cheers for the update it's hard to get footage from over here in Morisset NSW. We will be moving to Renmark in the new year hopefully it's not to flooded. Keep up the good work Mark. 👍

I do know they have only just opened the barage's. The lakes are .9m but it is flowing out to the ocean now, apparently 🤔
